Lange and Vinai definitely made it as hard as possible for us to avoid relegation by refusing to sack Frank.

As ugly as some of our remaining games are, we still have some big winnable relegation games. Leeds, Everton, Brighton, and Palace at home. Wolves and Sunderland away. It’s going to be really tough but if the players enjoy playing for Tudor I’m sure we’ll get enough points.

Whatever happens tomorrow the type of performance will tell us whether we will be relegated or not. We had like 0.07 xG the last time we played Woolwich. Play with courage and create chances and I would expect us to get the 10 or so points we’ll need in the rest of the games even if we can’t win tomorrow.
At the moment Palace are probably as bad as us. They are home to wolves tomorrow . Really don’t want them to win . Just need to get up towards them. It’s going to be up to us really. Cannot sit and wait for teams to drop points, this Bournemouth game tonight is vital, Bournemouth currently in very good form , especially away from home .

Just wondering. The media tried to build up a title race after 5 or 6 games. Are we falling into a trap of thinking the relegation scrap has started yet? There’s still a third of the season to go. That’s a lot of matches to pick up the wins. Of course we want to get them asap but are we being driven by media panic?

I caveat this by saying, I do think we are in the shit just because of the injuries, but there are plenty of points to fight for. Could do with Bournemouth winning today though for sure.
Our home form is the killer . A lot of home games look winnable but we’ve only won twice this season . Need to see a vast improvement tomorrow, win or lose.

Yeah this is how I see it too. Fans, and most importantly players, need to keep the faith. Tudor has been here before albeit in Italy so will know which games to target. I just hope he is spending morning noon and night watching PL games and our analysts giving him the best overview of games as teams as that will be important for him. Whilst he has to concentrate on us he has to be fed as much info on these teams we are playing. He needs to know there are no free hits in the PL.

Luckily for Tudor we will be an unknown quality for a few weeks. Games like Fulham way, which are usually difficult for us might be turned into wins as they wont know how we will set up.
It took them all ten games to figure Ange out so we’ll be sorted by then

Pair of absolute counts

There is not a snowball's we will finish with less points than WHU.
I reckon one win and one draw, maybe one win and 2 draws will be enough.

Not the worst results. After Woolwich we only have pool, Chelsea and Villa as out and out killer games and Villa are beatable. We need to take it into our own hands on this now. So 4 hard games out of 12 left, 8 very winnable games.

West Hams next 4 games:

Liverpool (away)
Fulham (away)
Man City (home)
Aston Villa (a)

Our next 5 with the game in hand after tonight:

Woolwich (home)
Fulham (away)
Crystal Palace (home)
Liverpool (away)
Nottingham Forest (h)

We simply need to take advantage of a tough run they have and a new manager bounce.

A big month ahead for our football club.

Well what's funny is how effortlessly better at playing basic football Nuno Espirito Santo is than Thomas Frank. The disrespect he got from our fans is mental. If he'd been allowed to the job he wanted he'd NEVER have had us in the relegation mire. Its us them or Forest looks like. Sickening miss management of our club. Lets hope the boys get behind the new boss and a start taking this seriously. Should never had stuck with Frank after the last international break.

Don’t believe it.

I was under impression that all the teams around us had somehow turned in to Prime Barcelona based on some of the posts have seen on here.

Maybe the 3% chance that Opta had for the outcome was based on more than the “I reckon West Ham and Forest will be safe so we are the favourites along with maybe Palace to be relegated” type of delusional posts.

Decent chance West Ham don’t even get another point until April based on their fixture list
