The thought crossed my mind I'd say around end of November to December.

Mid-January I thought hmmmm, could it happen?

End of January window it was a real growing concern.

By the time we lost to Fulham it became my prediction...but there was still a glimmer of hopium.

Palace cemented my prediction.

Yesterday, was the nail in the coffin. The most annoying thing, Liverpool and Atletico gave me the tiniest flicker of hope, but even that was pissed on yesterday.

All we can hope is that the fully ingrained, weak, 'acceptance of losing' mentality that has infected the club somehow dissipates in the Championship. Even that I don't hold out much hope under the current stewardship.

The past 13 games without a win in the league is our worst form in over 90 years.

Hate to be morose, but I only see 7 loses out of our remaining 7 now.

I used to have nightmares about 03/04 and 08/09 2 points from 8 games but this season has made those days look less painful.

This is pure heartbreak and if relegation is confirmed, then I don't know how I'll recover. I hope not stupidly, I am the luckiest man in the World with such a beautiful family and I just don't want to put them through this as well.

Tuned into the match after it had already started so only got to see those vids and pics of the fans gathering and showing support for the team after the game and honestly I've not felt that bad in a long time. Not so much for myself but for other fans, fans that go to games on the regular and those who have been following the team longer than myself.

Embracing the situation and trying to show the team that they believe in it and in return they get the biggest slap in the face....

I'm a glass half empty kind of guy when it comes to Spurs and I'm always cautious not to get sucked into believing that we'll win this game or get a result in that game but I'm feeling really gutted about yesterdays result more so than any other result I can think of in recent memory.

- We had one more day of rest than them, and they had to play extra time in their midweek match

- We were playing at home

- We had many of our injured / suspended players back available

- We played in a game that we couldn’t afford to lose, yet we did and by an emphatic scoreline.

- we had a huge number of supporters welcoming them at the stadium

The owners and board are to be blamed long term, but today Tudor has to be partly blamed for his starting 11 and subs.

But the players have to bear the biggest responsibility for today’s loss. We were chasing the game yet there was no urgency from some of the players - jogging around or taking their time for throw-ins and free kicks.

Barring a few, most of the players have checked out and waiting to leave the club in the summer. Tudor, or whoever replaces him for our remaining games, should give some playing time to our youth players - at least, they might put in more effect.

A few weeks ago, despite our poor results, I was confident that we wouldn’t be relegated. Now, I’m not so sure anymore although, as ever the optimist, I still have hope but it’s diminishing fast.

Disagree, they didn’t look checked out at all in the first half. And the numbers don’t reflect that either.

They were the better side but lacked the final cutting edge and some luck in the first half.

Second half Tudor made the wrong subs and they couldn’t find any rhythm then made sloppy mistakes that likely don’t happen if they’d followed through on their first half dominance,

They need to keep outrunning and out dueling teams but either take their chances or get some luck.

That's where I am at too. I hope we can keep the players we actually want around for this rebuild when we go down. archie gray, bergvall, udogie, maybe a couple of others. the list isn't long.

Hard to find anythjg to cling onto but that's exactly what is needed

Long tine befire our next game and those hours need to be used wisely.

Stick or twist, and I favour twisting, nothing but nothing has been decided.

I said a long time back there is a twist or two to come. I still sense that.

What's undoing us is not that the players don't care. It's an easy line at such times.

Our issue is simply an issue of confidence and belief, and that we lack on-field leadership. With confidence high, you don't need leaders.

I can't believe we've still got 7 more games of this to endure! It feels like we've been stuck in a 2 year doom loop, or purgatory, of constant losing (Bilbao aside). As the comment above says, feels like we are just fulfilling the fixture list now, which is only painful for the fans. Setting aside any chance of staying up, of which I believe there is effectively zilch, I would personally rather it is just confirmed now, and forego the next 2 months of pain, dejection, ridicule, apathy, whatever your overriding feeling has been for the last 3 or 4 months.

It worries me that some fans are taking comfort that "at least there are worse teams than us"

No there aren't.
We've taken 0.1ppg in our last 6.
Everyone has taken more.
WH have 1ppg in their last 6.
Burnley have 0.8

Etc

The issue is 100% mentality

One down - heads dropped - less sensible, more panicked in the way we were playing.

It’s just insane to me that Xavi didn’t start yesterday after his Atletico performance. He’s shown signs of linking up with Tel well in that game and in a couple of earlier ones.

Milenkovic and Murillo were eating up that Solanke and Richarlison partnership all day. I think we get the first goal yesterday if Xavi started.

Only way out of this is Tel - Xavi - Kudus behind Richarlison imo.

Club will have to do a few things in the summer imo

Sack Lange with immediate effect.

Hire a proper director of football who actually knows how to put together a good football team

Sack the Gooner

Sell off the high wage scumbags , vicario, Spence, porro , Romero, VDV, Gallagher, solanke etc etc

Keep hold of no matter what , bergvall, Gray, Tel, maddison and kulusevski. Ideally vuskovic tho he sounds like a step to far .
Wages will have to be by far the highest on the championship to brute force way back straight away

Bring back Solomon to help get out of championship

Get the right manager to get the wins and play the right football who will also nurture and play lankshear, Yang min, Moore, souza

Yeah don't disagree with any of this.

Vuskovic is such a shame and just seems typical of Spurs situation doesn't it. Seemingly a player with the prospect of being a generational talent, only for us to be relegated and therefore him probably never kicking a ball in anger for us.

He's been shit in the league.
