Of those you've named, I could see Richarlison and Palhinha possibly being kept. Dragusin also if Romero and VdV leave.
Palhinha is on loan . You think he’d sign with us on a permanent ?

If that included data on free kicks conceded vs awarded, you would really see the truth. Here is a reason why Tottenham have struggled this season. Also Spurs have not had a penalty all season.

Notice also who is at the bottom of the discipline table.
You would never guess? They will probably not at the price we would want though to make it worth it.
Reality is if we shift Vicario, Porro, Romero, VDV, Udogie, Richarlison, Bissouma, Palhinha, Kolo Muani, Bentancur, Dragusin quickly and some are loans or end of contract then that is huge financial gains for the club. At that point with over £100m in the bank and vast amounts of wages off the book the financial pressure is gone then any sale has to be worth the player.
our players apparently have 50% wage cuts in their contract in the event of relegation which we could easily enforce. The carrot would be we won’t force it if you commit to helping us back up. Any player that doesn’t risks losing half their wage if their price is not met.
Archie Gray doesn't deserve this. Romero VDV Spence and Porro deserve 70 %
They deserve more than that...Archie Gray doesn't deserve this. Romero VDV Spence and Porro deserve 70 %
Don’t most clubs do that? It makes sense to me.
Looking at the upcoming matches for teams in the bottom. I can see WH getting 7 or 8 points from their next 4 matches.
We made CP look like prime Barca, and Brentford might be cruising by the time they play WH.
One more nuggest to think of, the potential of having a huge club like Tottenham go down is exciting other teams. When we play teams, they might put more effort to push us over the cliff. It is an exciting and motivated story to make them up their game against us. This is not the same when they play WH or NF. Both were relegated many times and not looked at as a big of a deal if they do down again. (For wrestling fans) it is like the elimination match where you have 20 wrestlers tossing each other outside the ring and doing their things, but when Andre the Giant is on the robes, you see 10 or 12 of them jumping on it and pushing him out (I know it is wrestling and scripted) but still, the fans even get on it when that happens.
Oh God, we are screwed.
That's why it is a no brainer that we go get an English manager for these 7 games. One who understand this dynamic and how English game and league works. What Tottenham mean in English football, and the scale of the task facing us.
No offence but a tweet confirms this ?
Who do you think will stay having 50% of their wage cut ?
Players have the power these days … if a player wants out , they go .
Yes, Ornstein is by far the most reliable voice in football so I would very surprised if it isn’t true.

As for player power that is simply not true. Kane tried everything to go to City and it didn’t happen. If a player is on a long contract they have little to no power. Only players in their last 1-2 years will have power to make moves. For us it will come down to finances, how much we need to raise and who we want to keep. The club isn’t a charity.
Maybe. Yes, we will be champo-shite, but if the cash is decent, Poch is manager, and he gets to live in London, maybe he will. Will depend I think on whether Poch (if he is here) wants him.Palhinha is on loan . You think he’d sign with us on a permanent ?
Until things actually happen , I’d take it all with a pinch of salt
Kane has gone . And I’m pretty sure international players will be handing in transfers requests like confetti IF we do actually go down
I support Dyche as No.1, and Big Sam as No.2 for the remainder of the season. Nothing like it will have ever been seen, or be seen again. I'd even offer to play all our remaining games mid-week in Stoke.Looking at the upcoming matches for teams in the bottom. I can see WH getting 7 or 8 points from their next 4 matches.

I doubt it, but worth a try (suggest it's not Vinai who calls). While on the call, see if we can get Tonks on loan for the remaining games also - for his howitzer. The guy at Tamworth Town would fit those job requirements; but would he be prepared to risk his reputation.
No they don't - as we've proved before with numerous players, including Kane recently, players who are under contract go when the club says they can go. There are not many players who will down tool so much that they ruin their own careers, so (much like Kane in his last season), having had a little sulk they then have to get on with doing what they are damn well contracted to do until the club decides they can leave. No offence but a tweet confirms this ?

Long contracts. It’s our gift not theirs, someone would need to pay up and pay up big time and that is far from certain. Contacts work against like Ndombele when we had to pay everything but they also work for you. Club isn’t a charity, we are under no obligation to do anything that isn’t financially necessary.
