We can moan as much as we like and talk about luck but you make your own luck and we’ve been dog shit for 95% of the season and deserve to go down . The lack of effort on and off the pitch has put us in this position . Just 1 more win in the last 15 games wouid see us out the relegation zone and we couldn’t even muster that .

I don’t see West Ham picking up more than 2 points from the next 3 - Brentford love a draw, Woolwich will beat them and as bad as Newcastle have been, a draw in that game will likely mean the mathematically stay up - will also be Howes last home game.

Point at Villa and beat Leeds would mean we go into the Chelsea game ahead of them and would need to win that one or Everton at home to stay up.

I would not be shocked if West Ham picked up 1 or no points from the next 3 games - it’s an incredibly tough run and I would take our fixtures over theirs every day of the week.

Forest aren’t out of this either - they could easily not win another game this season with their run in

West Ham have won at home to Woolwich once in 20 years and away to Brentford once in 70 years.

Our record at home to Everton and Leeds is very strong - we’ve still got a chance here.

The main thing is to not lose ground this weekend - certainly no more than a point. If we can go into that Leeds match knowing a win takes us out of it then it will be a feral atmosphere and I think we will drag ourselves over the line in that one. We then just need to match their last 2 results and we’re up.

If Leeds beat Burnley and West Ham or ourselves do not win this weekend then Leeds are mathematically safe - making that game much less daunting. Villa of course have 2 tough Europa games. Chelsea will have just played a cup final and Everton are more or less the only side in the Prem we consistently beat.

I still think we get out of this - probably on goal difference

I like the sound of this, this Monday morning!

I'm not the one here saying our only creative player for a team who do not create chance is no great loss, perhaps you ought to think before you post.
“Our only creative player for a team who do not create chance” - bit of an oxymoron

A so called creative player who does not create chances in a team that does not create chances would be more accurate.

He compounds it by being a terrible finisher - Brennan Johnson did far more for Spurs than Xavi has and he was hounded out.

I’ve said since pre forest that we need three wins and I stick by that. Obviously not quite as confident now on that prediction. We probably need three now to be certain of it.
My predictor is the following

Game week 35

Brentford vs West Ham - Draw
Chelsea vs Forest - Chelsea
Villa vs Spurs - Draw

Game week 36

West Ham vs Woolwich - Woolwich win
Forest vs Newcastle - Draw
Tottenham vs Leeds - Tottenham win

Game week 37

Newcastle vs West Ham - Draw
United vs Forest - United
Chelsea vs Tottenham - Chelsea

Game week 38

West Ham vs Leeds - West Ham
Forest vs Bournemouth - Draw
Tottenham vs Everton - Tottenham

Would leave us, West Ham and Forest all on 41 points - GD keeping us and Forest up

Leeds have not been in this for ages - they will beat Burnley on Friday and be on 43 points and on the beach for us hopefully

Love

Love the optimism - hope its well placed. The nature of our win on Sat - with two more injuries thrown in - has rather dampened my spirits. Plus Forest and Spam appear to have decided to stop being shite.

It's not an oxymoron if you really really really think about it, if we are struggling to create chances as a team then logic dictates that we need players on the pitch with creativity.

You say he doesn't create chances well you're just wrong, most amount of big chances created for us this season in 19 PL starts nonetheless. You can say that he loses the ball a lot which he does and he is not the best finisher but to say he doesn't create chances is an outright lie, why are you lying for?

Even if want to pretend stats are meaningless then go by the eye test, how many players in this team are creating that chance for Porro's goal last week, have a guess?

Brennan Johnson was sold because his all round game was crap, why do you keep referring to him, they don't even play in the same position?

Being the best creator at Tottenham this season is a tallest dwarf contest.

We got rid of BJ who scored 11 and created 5 last year and replaced with 2 goals and 5 assists Xavi - thems the facts.

People moaned about BJ’s all round game - gives the ball away, doesn’t beat a man - Xavi is exactly the same but a poorer finisher.

He has the athleticism of an asthmatic field mouse that just stubbed its toe.

Don't bother working it out we're done mate.
Cursed as a football club and unfortunately nothing will change? Name one player that hasn't missed games through injury the last two seasons?
