The thing is regardless of injuries we should not be in this position at all. No one signed up for this shite. It’s Ange’s squad he was happy with it so he should be getting more out of the players he has available. The fact that a lot of people have almost accepted where we are as if there is nothing we can do about is astonishing. We shouldn’t be in this position at all regardless of levy/ Enic. Also let’s get this straight there are two issues here which are different. One is Ange is crap and needs to go. The other is levy needs to go. We can have both. At the moment it all seems to be levy out and Ange is getting off Scott free. However he has been awful for best part of 15 months. The stats and numbers tell us that. When was the last time we won 2 PL games on the spin?

TFC POLL - WHAT ARE YOU DOING IF WE GO DOWN?

Still going games - 31%

Flexing the wrists more at the tennis club - 17%

Spending more time on building my property empire - 22%

Going non league - proper football - 18%

Jail time for malicious communication offences against Levy - 12%

Looking at our remaining games (PL only). My predictions are as follows:

Brentford A - loss, almost nailed on
Man Utd H - draw
Ipswich A - draw but could easily see a loss, they'll be super pumped for this
Man City H - loss, 100%
Bournemouth H - loss
Fulham A - loss
Chelsea A - loss, 100%
Saints H - win, and the only one I'm very confident about
Wolves A - draw
Forest H - draw
Liverpool A - loss, 100%
West Ham A - draw, think we get something here
Palace H - win
Villa A - loss
Brighton H - win, but coin toss

That will take up to 35 points or beyond, which is what we need. I think we survive because I can see 3-4 wins and there are several teams who are really bad, even worse than us.

I blame quite a few parties for this sorry state of affairs. Regular posters will know i'm no fan of Ange, he's a limited coach who has been found out at this level. I blame Levy most though - trying to compete in the best league in the world on a shoestring, forgotten it's a football club and without that his stadium project would have gone nowhere.

Agree with most of that. Given the fixtures coming up we're going to be right in the mix after that Chelsea game. Fixtures after that maybe a bit easier and we might scrape to 35/40 pts. But i think its going to get worse next few weeks.

It's insane

we're the 8th richest club in the world
probably the best stadium in the world
2nd biggest ground capacity after MUFC (?)
but probably the biggest match day revenues?
one of the best academy/training ground set ups in the world
massive catchment area within 2 hours drive of Enfield, one of the biggest in Europe
a great history and millions of legacy fans worldwide
an insanely loyal fanbase

and here we are, shitting bricks about relegation with a manager bought on the cheap with NO PL experience, and apart from an emergency reserve keeper we'llbe buying no one in the Jan window even tho things are critical

Levy got a lot to answer for. If he fell under a bus tomorrow, I'd be hanging out the bunting and I don't give a shit how bad that sounds

Agree. Horrendous mismanagement of the football side of the operation.

It's become clear (though some saw it very early tbf) that the outstanding achievement of Levy/ENIC - the massive new stadium - and the lack of interest in the football side of our club (it's a football club FFS!!) are two sides of the same coin.

One positive is quite a few of our young guys look good - we need to bring in some experienced players to help them.

I think once we get rid of Ange we can to some extent reset ourselves. There will always be constraints under Levy/ENIC but we can improve things from our current dire situation.

It’s not that Ange is good or bad…

It’s that we know the ultimate problem is baldy.
