Yesterday was all about the performance and attitude. You could see some players have reacted well RKM being the obvious one.

But we had Xavi constantly giving the ball away again, Dragusin winning everything in the air and nothing on the ground, Vic looking like a competition winner. Sarr getting bullied again - I saw Saka push him off the ball at one point. Gallagher running around but not really doing anything.

Then we have the appalling attitude of VDV.

I watched the Forest game and caught some of the West Ham game - they are both playing miles better and both sides look unified in their fight. The fans believe and the players do as well. Complete opposite of us currently
This is a fair point. I watched the Forest game and whilst they didn't really lay a glove on the bin dippers their goal was to get a point and they were incredibly unfortunate not to achieve that. Maybe I am seeing things through Spurs tinted glasses and circumstances outside the control of club (injuries), poor decisions (Frank) and current form (confidence) are why we look so disjointed and completely devoid of any idea. I wasn't pinning anything on yesterday's game. It was always going to be tough. In all honestly, I wasn't even looking at the Fulham game but I now am. There has to be a positive reaction. Some fight, some belief. We can't point the finger at Tudor. He has inherited a complete mess but he also has to stamp he's authority and not worry about next season. The message Lange put out about him being considered for next season if it goes well is just the wrong message. Once you start looking ahead too far you lose sight of what the goal is. We can stay up but we have to see something next Sunday.

I don't care anymore. Staying in the loop of being embarrassed in the prem every season where all the refs hate us and Woolwich and Chelsea beat us every year home and away is just shit. Every time we are on TV, I just know the ref is going to make one big call against us and none of the pundits ever stick up for us. Its just horrible supporting us in the prem! Especially when we only show up for Man City ( who I practically support in the league most years now!!!).

Life would be so much easier and stress free in the championship. We'd be winning games every week. Scoring 4 or 5 at home. Mikey Moore would be tearing it up! The vibes would be back. This loop of being shit in the prem every season, always been embarrassed by our rivals and flirting with relegation is just not fun.

If we got relegated then we could sell this stupid stadium to the NFL and sack every member of the board. Become a football club again!

They'd be nothing stress free about watching the team struggle to get a result against Preston on a cold December night

We have more chance against teams that are "on the beach" than those scrapping for their lives.

Our wins are more likely to come against Brighton and Everton than Forest and Leeds imo.
I don't think we are going to have any teams on the beach against us. They will all want to relegate us. And they will raise their games to try and send us down. We aren't exactly liked in the league as we were one of the breakaway six to the Super league and people have long memories.
We also were among the 5-6 clubs that pretty much dictated how the Premier league would work at its inception.

We can't rely on anyone else, and we can't rely on ourselves so I'm firmly convinced we are going down.

We've got Fulham away and West Ham away.

We have to scrap every ball, every on field battle to carve out a point in that one with the hope/ expectation that they don't get anything up at Anfield.

The real big one for me is Palace at home. It's such a crucial game to help turn our home forms tide. That game is played one day after West Ham play Fulham away.

Their next 2 games after that are City at home and Villa away.

Got to open up a 6-8 point gap over West Ham during this spell. They've got a brutal March whilst we have a couple of far more favourable looking games than them on paper.

March is a massive, massive month for us when you look at our fixtures, West Hams and Forests. The biggest month left of the season for me.

We don’t have West Ham away.

Awful post...Jesus man.... Listen to yourself
...and we call Liverpool "Victims" FC!!!!!

There's no conspiracy. We're not hated by the officials more than everyone else. The pundits don't hate us, they just call it as it is.

Everything is down to the loser mentality that that's been permeating from the top of the club down for years and has now manifested itself within the fanbase .....with posts like yours blaming everything and everyone but the club itself.

We ALL know the real cause of our ill's pal. And it ain't Gary Neville

ENIC OUT!!!

I actually agree with some of this, but not enough to want to see us relegated. Maybe we'll find out soon enough.

We need that one game where everything goes our way. The bounce of the ball, the odd deflection and a few refereeing decisions. I think (probably more hope) that one win will give some big confidence.

I know that bro but they ain't leaving because they are making a great profit off our club. We see the revenue figures every year. We are always in the top 10 for profit in Europe and have been for years but we've never acted like a big club in the football sense. So yes, all issues go directly back to the owners. And I think its fair to say that they used Levy as the face of the issues for years and had him flogged in front of the supporters explaining everything so that he'd get the brunt of all the blame. I personally think the last few months has only shown that Levy was always the fall guy and just a guinea pig for ENIC.

But how do we change this? If we survive this year then what? Small investment in Summer as no Europe and a new manager being told to only focus on the league and aim to get back in European places. Squad will be left short again and any injury crisis will derail our season again. Very good chance that we just end up back in this exact same scenario this time next year and possibly even worse if it means we've brought back Poch and sacked him again after 7 months! What next? It just seems to go from worse to worse. Surely bringing back Poch and sacking him would be the most embarassing scenario possible but Spurs are always like "hold my beer". Something even more embarrassing will happen! something even us fans can't think of!

The only solution is a total clear out at the top. Forget the players and forget the manager. All roads lead back to ENIC and anyone who was involved in appointing Vinai. From Vinai to the top all needs a total clear out and unfortunately this will only ever happen if we get relegated. ENIC won't sell otherwise. Maybe if we stay up they see this as a close call and they sell up but I doubt it. I think we end up in the same loop and I really hope Poch can come in and turn it around but he's swimming against a tsunami and its highly likely he'll be sacked again and we'll be fighting relegation every year until we eventually go down.

Agree, that's why I'm somewhat think we'll just about survive by a handful of points.

Lots of home games against bottom half teams at the tail end , and the injection of Kudus, bergvall, porro, richarlison, Romero/Danso should probably give us just enough to scrape it

We need one decent result to turn the tide.

Fulham and Palace are Cup Finals and I’m expecting the squad to step up like they did in Bilbao

So, you think this is ENICs plan?

- miss out on 100m+ in revenue by not qualifying for Europe
- miss out on 40m+ prize money for table finish in EPL
- Dramatically reduce match day revenues
- Devalue the players
- Make club less attracting to Sponsors

Of course not. Over last 5 years, 4th highest NET SPEND (more than Liverpool, City, Newcastle, Madrid, Barca, PSG) IN THE WORLD. 1 BILLION EUROS in transfer fees.

But but...Salaries I hear you cry. 10th WORLDWIDE, 6th in Premier League.

For the money that has been spent, Spurs should be challenging for the Premier League title, and winning trophies every year.

So...WTF has gone wrong?

- Replace Son, Moura and Kane with players nowhere near their level.......Odobert, Solanke, Richarlison, Tel, RKM, Kudus, Johnson
- Replaced Eriksen, who rarely missed a game with Madisson who has only played 2900 EPL minutes of 9500 available.
- Replace world class keeper (Lloris) with Vicario, who can neither defend set pieces nor kick a ball.
- Expecting 18 years old to play at a Premier League level.
- Consistently signing players from poor performing teams (not signing winners). Grey, Odobert, Solanke, Richarlison, Kudus, Johnson, Madisson, Udogie, Vicario all signed from bottom of the table teams.

CONCLUSION
Spurs spent a billion Euros assembling a team of players that for the most part have zero experience competing at the highest level for trophies. They have never played with an expectation of winning and don't know what it takes to get over the line.
At least we agree on the fact our ills are self-inflicted.

You and I are very likely from the same era, given the time we have supported. Why we support / supported Spurs is for a sense of community, identity, and excitement from the shared experience. ENIC. It’s just moneymaking. Take comfort in the fact that the one thing they care about they are burning at an alarming rate. Good. Fuck them. I no longer care.
Spot on mate. Only so long you can be kicked in the teeth and come back for more.
