I live too far away to be a season ticket holder, but, i think that all the time the fans give their money to ENIC, ENIC gets paid and they don't care about the football, unless the football hits them in the pocket, which it's close to doing now. Big gambles taken on their part, but no real care for the fans, it's just self-interest.
I think fans should hit them in the pocket to break the cycle of them taking the fans for granted and maybe realising that there is a football club somewhere buried in amongst their business.
I’ve arrived at this point now. It took me a while though and in the past I’ve cited how Spurs were part of my life, I enjoy seeing old mates at WHL, why should I let Levy/ENIC force me out as a legacy fan etc.
To be quite frank, life is too short for this nonsense. I won’t be renewing and should’ve walked away after Bilbao. It’s only a game - there are far more important things in life than a football club. Yes, the owners at Spurs are running the football team into the ground and have prioritised their ‘leisure empire’ at the teams expense. But what we can we do? They won’t sell up, so instead of letting it eat me up, I’ll go and watch some non-league football and do other things.
