Those teams are all considerably better than us, and we’ve also stopped trying. Think most of the players think they can leave on the cheap if we get relegated.
I don't think that can be discounted. More than likely a good portion of these players are tired of the failure and want away regardless. They aren't stupid, they know relegation would spring the lot of them.

I don't think they want to be part of a relegated side, but knowing they wouldn't be here for the aftermath must be in the back of their minds.

Agreed but all I want to see is us maintain or open the gap between us and West Ham in the next 3 or 4 games. That's all.

How we play, who plays well and all those matters means nothing to me.

One simple aim, which is survival by any means and with whatever points achieve it.
We’re going to shamble our way across the line.

We were atrocious at the weekend, but scored twice (aye, fucking twice) against a very strong side. We do that against the likes of Fulham, Sunderland and Everton and they aren’t scoring three to win.

There’s enough in this squad and enough in this manager to get us where we need to be.

I get this, but how much are you paying for VdV last summer, just after his overhead clearance in the Europa? You’ll give him a pretty good salary too, I imagine?

How about a relegated VdV? Same fee? Same salary? Doubtful. Are you even a club that would want to sign an ever present in a relegated side?

If these players want away, to somewhere ‘’better” for more money, they’d better get their fucking arses in gear.

With respect I think that's nonsense.

100%.

I believe so too, and we don't face top of the table quality again. Plain facts

I have been a bit of a Richy hater in his time here but I hope he can stay fit. He is one of the only players I have any faith in actually getting stuck in for this battle and he seems like a popular figure with the rest of the squad so my hope is that they would follow his lead.

Yeah that January window was wild . You don't want purchase players because there no opportunity...fine, bs but fine.

But then they should have filled out the squad with the players we already own to give the coach options when 11 to 12 players are missing

Solomon
Phillips
Devine
Yang min
Moore

Probably all should've been immediately recalled if the option was available
Yeah this is what did for me looking back. Crazy thing is they would all get decent minutes.

And aside from that Lookman was available for a reasonable price.

In our remaining games we play the teams currently 13th, 14th, 15th and 17th at home.
And the teams 12th and 20th away.

18 points to play for there. 7 should keep us up. 2 wins and 1 draw.

Not really in the realms of feeding 5000 people with a couple of sardines and a loaf of hovis.
Or parting the Atlantic Ocean is it??
All in all would be a pretty crappy miracle if we do stay up.

Unless Jesus Christ himself wanders onto the pitch and scores a few bangers.
Be well up for seeing that miracle tbh.
Not sure 36 keeps us up to be honest. 39/40 this year because of West Ham being given the kiss of life by us when we played them (11 points from last 6 matches). Forest and Leeds too are battling away. We don’t seem to have much in the way of fight. We have 4 points from the last 9 matches

Looking at the table standings for the last 15 years plus. 2 wins and 2 draws will mostly likely do it

36 points seems to often be enough apart from Newcastle who got relegated with 37 points

FInished on 38 points last season during Europa run with just as savage injuries

Just 2 wins and 2 draws from 11 games, we have the home games and a decent chance of a draw away to wolves and Sunderland to do it comfortably imo.
*Also Aston villa should really be in the middle of a Europa League semi final when we play them and we'll on paper have a everyone fit*

Woolwich is really not the one to sweat over , nor will the away games against Chelsea and pool

Im not even convinced we beat Palace or Forest at home.
Only 2 home wins in the PL all season against Burnley and Brentford last year.
We need players like Kudus to come back and make a difference otherwise at the moment, I don't have any belief the current available players are capable of winning a match.
Our home form is just too bad.

Liverpool away and Chelsea away don’t exactly fill me with confidence. The rest? 8 mediocre opponents and a decent Villa.
And Villa have been very suspect for a while now. Outside of their game against Brentford (against 10 men, which they lost anyway) they have been second best lately.

They could definitely pick up form again by May but equally, they could be locked into a pretty secure position by the time we play them.

The form tables if you analyse them are very concerning. We were 3rd in the table after 9 games with 5 wins and 17 points. We have picked up just 2 wins and 12 points in last 18 and 0 wins and 4 points from last 9 games.

If you look at last 18 games, we are 3rd from bottom on 12 points. Burnley and Wolves below us on 7 points. Sunderland are 4th bottom, 7 points ahesd of us on 19. Leeds are on 20, Spammers 21, Forest, 22, Palace 22.

If you look at last 9 games since start of 2026, we are bottom on 4 points, only team in the league winless. Wolves and Burnley are both on 7, Forest 9, Palace 9, Leeds 11, Spammers 12.

All our relegation rivals whether you look at last 9 or 18 games are picking up points at a far greater rate than we are. You can see the dog in the likes of Leeds, Spammers and Forest that we seek to be completely lacking.

I didnt realise we are the only team not to win a game in 2026. Fuck me

Absolutely siege mentality now...
11 games where FUCK THE LOT OF YA is the mantra ...
The media want us down, the entire world of football seems to want it too...

We're literally the only set of fans left who don't wanna see it happen...

That's a lot to take on....

But fuck it.... bring it on.
Spirit of the past.... Let's get fucking nasty if we have to... I don't care any more....

Don't take ANY more shit.
Enough is enough...

Bully, snipe at, break up, steamroller any cunt who gets in our way from now on...

The price to pay is just too big if we don't!

Our survival is literally at stake!

Seems like a lot of people are resigned to it too. They need to dust themselves down. Thankfully there will be fight from the stands. Probably more than on the pitch anyway as it actually means something to us to stay in the division.

maybe levy has put his 500 million on us to get relegated a few weeks back at 10/1 …..
Then he can buy the club
It wouldn't be the first incident of 'insider trading' connected to ENIC either!

If it wasn't that the sight of Levy walking into Ladbrokes and slapping down £500mil on us to go down might raise suspicion, I genuinely wouldn't rule anything out as a possibility!

Those lot are stupid enough to try it!
