If you go back to last season, we picked up 5 points from 36 from last 12 league games, the solitary win against bottom of the table Southampton. So in last 39 league games across last season and this, we have 34 points from 39 games. 34 points this season will see us relegated. If we take out the first 9 games of this season and a relative purple patch of 5 wins and 17 points, we have just 3 wins and 17 points from 30 games. That’s bottom of the table form.

Our form has been utterly horrendous for over a calendar year now. We are the worst team in the league over last 12 games. I am hugely concerned as to where this turnaround will come from when you look at the body language of our players on the field. If you were putting a gun to my head on it, I do believe we will be relegated, the rot is so bad, I don’t see it stopped before the end of this season.

Two+ calendar years. This all started in November 2023. We’ve lost 46 league games out of the last 103, under Ange, Frank and now Tudor. Albeit one game.
 
Be under no illusions, if we go down everyone and I mean everyone will be looking to put the boot in.

Every team in the Championship will up their game when playing us making it doubly hard to go straight back up.

If these clowns can’t do a decent job in the PL, what makes you think they’ll do any better in the Championship? Could be a long stay…

Suddenly it’s the players that are shit. WTAF!!

It’s clear we really had some top class managers that we let down. Shame on us.

And the other teams are used to being down there, as are managers like Pereira, Nuno and Farke. And they don’t have the injuries.

We might have some players back soon in Porro and Danso but match winners they are not. West Ham bought 2 strikers to help solve the problem. We bought a midfielder and teenage left back. Tudor may be great but he’s got hands tied behind his back.

Hopefully Brighton will get dragged right into it as I don’t think they have the mgmt know how or the fight either

No wonder they're all not giving their absolute everything.

Its the owners who are the problem. They've created a culture whereby winning isn't that important.

We are actually in a really similar place to Everton in 21-22. Like us they had a pretty good start to the season under Benitez but sleepwalked into a relegation battle.

It was an absolute scrap for them and they only stayed up by the skin of their teeth on the second last game of the season.

Maybe going to games in the championship would be fun?

I’m fucking bored of PL football, maybe it will make me appreciate it more?

Let’s face it, we won the europa league which was wonderful but since 2019 supporting us has been fucking painful and fucking boring. Football is meant to be an escape, be exciting, be entertainment. But we’ve had now of that.

I don’t want to get relegated of course, it would be embarrassing but we’d get over it. We went down in 77/78 and then won a couple of fa cups and the uefa cup. It can be ok.

That’s not it. I’m bored because it’s ruined. Ruined by VAR and poor officiating. You can’t even fucking celebrate goals with any certainty now. The whole point of the fucking game is ruined.

It’s shit because I go and I have to watch people videoing corners on their phones rather than cheering the team. I call them out, I say, you know we won’t score if you video it, and usually they stop.

People are still ordering pints at the start of second halves in the stadium. They stay on the concourses and watch games on the tvs there rather than go in.

People want to video themselves chanting by europes longest bar but get them in the stadium and they re quiet as fuck because they can’t send it to their mates.

It’s fucking shit man.
