Which would be wonderful news if they hadn't gained 8 points on us over the last ten games. On paper it's a simple task but the way we're playing and the way the players appear to have given up and only seem to play when we're already 2 goals down makes the task seem a little harder.

It's not the results or strength of opposition in the run in which scares me, it's the attitude of our players compared to Forest and West Ham which is the most alarming. If we can't match their spirit we're done for, and I haven't seen anything in the last few months to suggest we can do that.

It's up to the players to prove me wrong. I'll be at every home game except Palace doing my bit, they need to do theirs.
They have won six games, 3 of which were in one quick run. They have been inept besides and there are no signs they are about to win 3 more

They should have sacked Frank early January and brought in a manager and added a few players but they decided it wasn't a good idea as players returning from injury would mean the new additions would have been a waste. The lot in charge need to start realising they're no good at running this historic club, Levy got the bullet but we're even worse without him at the helm, I think at least he may have reacted better in a similar fashion to when Juande Ramos got sacked, Harry was put in the hot seat and more troops were recruited.

The owners don't deserve us staying up and if we do by the skin of our teeth if they don't do something far more dynamic in the Summer then I think this spiral of decline will indeed mean we finally go down. It's astonishing just how bad our home form has been given it was a fortress under Poch - or at least the Old Stadium was.

This new ground has only been a fortress for fucking Chelsea and Woolwich

Agree with this, especially how strong we once were at home, which will come round again but gor now, it's all but deserted us.

We need three wins and maybe a draw. They will have to come from Palace, Forest, Brighton and Leeds at home and Wolves away because I don’t see us getting anything from the other games.

Yes I know we’re shit at home, but we’re no better away now either.

You know what I am most depressed about?

That these bunch of cunts are the ones deciding how fucking miserable we are. They don’t deserve that.

They don't need to win three more. One win and a couple of draws will see them okay if our current run continues.

We haven't won a game since December. We haven't even looked like winning a game since, and the players heads have gone. We're not certs for the drop but we're doing absolutely nothing to help ourselves at the moment.

Maybe it's complacency and the players aren't taking this seriously, I don't know, but West Ham are getting closer and closer in our rear view mirror and we've got a hole in our fuel tank. Pretending that they're not edging closer to us isn't going to turn this around, sorry. Neither does panicking granted but it's a live threat and it's not being taken seriously.

Why people keep discounting this is unreal.

SInce Everton away we have averaged roughly 0.60 pts a game.

I Look at every game with dread, I cannot see the rot stopping. Just casted my vote, I only see one outcome, relegation. Look at the numbers, the perfomances and the toxicity, if this was another club, no matter how big it was, we'd all agree it was done for.

Sorry people, but it is time to prepare for the worst.

Romero Udogie back will help unless they get immediately suspended/injured again.

But we need a miracle like Madders back in late march or something.

The only way out of this now is to bring some fresh youngsters into the team. Players with hunger and who aren’t scared and who are willing to actually run and leave it all out on the pitch because this lot just aren’t.
