To be fair, I rate Bergvall highly, but he is definitely more of a drive-with-the-ball type midfielder than a pass between the lines or create with clever passes type player. He could certainly improve in his creative passing, which hopefully he will as a young player.

Yeah his passing and positioning are the weakest parts of his game imo. He's capable of good, creative passes, certainly compared to like Sarr, Biss, Palhinha, but his passing is very inconsistent. He's miles off an actual top level passing mid like Wharton.
I really rate Bergvall but he's not the solution to our passing problems in midfield.
As some have said, I think they got new owners. If ENIC achieve the unthinkable and got us relegated, I’m not holding my breath that they can make the right decisions to help us reset and get back up quickly.

It pains me to say this but I don't know if that is the case. In our last match we went two goals down and everyone made for the exits. I understand the frustration but to demonstrate that fans will be there for players no matter what is to endure dark moments.
I saw an argument on twitter today where an Everton supporter said basically the same. They take it a point of pride that they have been in this position before and turned Goodison into a fortress, such as that last time with Richarlison himself. Surviving by the skin of their teeth.
Perhaps their desperation was different from ours. Their fans feel ours have had it too easy and don't have the stomach for this kind of a fight. I hope that we prove them wrong.

Was out with an Everton fan last night so got the lowdown on what it’s like. He said he always thought they were fine when in a relegation battle because he knew they had fight in the team but they were just shit. Watching us he knows we have no fight in us from how we are currently playing. Suspect all the teams we are playing know that too and it’s why we are fucked.
If we can get Kudus, Bergvall, Udogie, Kulusevski and Maddison back at least for the last 7-8 games we have a chance. If not I think it is over. The club need to do everything to speed up recovery time, work as hard on the injured players as the fit ones.
