It’s a compliment
Nobody ever sang Everton away ole ole or Villa away ole ole
They would sing it for Liverpool, Woolwich, Chelsea, United if they were in our position

It just shows how fucking enormous us going down would be. Like nothing the Championship has ever seen before. It’s a compliment

Yeh noticed that. When Villa and Newcastle went down it was big but this is being built up like it’s the Leicester title win event, like something huge.
He was referencing all of it. Us fans too
I think that the club should pump Maddison and Kulusevski with whatever drugs they’ve got to get them back on the pitch for the Sunderland game at the very latest, but I can’t see the playing this season tbh.If we can get Kudus, Bergvall, Udogie, Kulusevski and Maddison back at least for the last 7-8 games we have a chance. If not I think it is over. The club need to do everything to speed up recovery time, work as hard on the injured players as the fit ones.
It would certainly be a lesson that you're never that far away from being relegated. Was talking to a Villa fan yesterday. Feels the same way about the premier league as we do, even though they are in a top 4 hunt. Games are boring and prescribed.
It’s an interesting question about the impact of Spurs going down could have on the premier league. Financially it would be a big hit but I think it might be an even bigger hit for storytelling and the media. Very few clubs create as much interest as Spurs, even from other clubs loving to hate us.
They built this “Spursy” narrative up so much that it’s one of the biggest and most compelling stories they have to tell every week. I’m not sure the PL can replace that easily. Especially during a period when everyone is so done with the product on the pitch.
It’s the lack of fight that’s the biggest worry for me.Was out with an Everton fan last night so got the lowdown on what it’s like. He said he always thought they were fine when in a relegation battle because he knew they had fight in the team but they were just shit. Watching us he knows we have no fight in us from how we are currently playing. Suspect all the teams we are playing know that too and it’s why we are fucked.
It’s the lack of fight that’s the biggest worry for me.
All those teams around us seem to have players that are willing to run harder and get stuck in, whereas ours look like they’ve already given up.
I wasn’t in favour of binning Tudor too soon, but if he’s not getting a reaction then we have to at least try someone else rather than wonder what if after it’s too late (& none of this get Redknapp or Hoddle in bollocks).
Our players are like Harry Carpenter."Solanke has revealed that the Spurs players have acknowledged their position in the table and it has prompted some honest discussions.
"We've just had a big conversation," he said.
"We know the position we are in is definitely not where we want to be so we need to figure out how we are going to get out of it as soon as possible.
“We know there's been difficulties but we're not in a position to make any excuses anymore.
"We need to do the job on the pitch. It is easy to say we want to be better but we want to be better on the pitch. We need to fight and realise the position we are in.
"We know the club is not used to being in this position so we need to understand it and understand it's not going to be easy and we need to fight every single game, every single minute, to make sure we improve."

A great point. But if we go down and ENIC do not sell the club, then we need to burn the fuckers down.
Quite right. My assumption is we go down. ENIC go or we dam well do the right thing and finally force them out.

Don't upset people with the truth, you'll set off their Jose alarms. All gone downhill. Should of never sacked Mourinho. Would’ve won the league by now.
Villa and Newcastle didn't get relegated after winning a European trophy and barely winning a home game in 'the best stadium in the country' etc.Yeh noticed that. When Villa and Newcastle went down it was big but this is being built up like it’s the Leicester title win event, like something huge.
