Agreed it’s completely unacceptable what has happened and is chronic mismanagement. Not least Levy and Lange axis of data evil, people who lack the ability to add context to the data and account for the variables. Dam them to hell.

Most here seem to feel the Championship is more physical and more competitive than it's ever been. I don't watch much Champo myself but I would not like our chances against those who can be physical and bully players off the ball

I don't see how any of the players can take Romero seriously as a captain in the light of his absence for maybe as many as 10 games in the run-in to the end of the season. I don't.When very successful ex-pros such as Rooney, Neville, Keane etc. come out and blast your commitment and fight on The Overlap you’d think that’s all the rocket these players would need.
If Romero had anything about him he’d call a team meeting, sit them down and make them watch those sections on us. He should then say ‘Are we going to prove these fuckers right and go out with a whimper, or are we going to fight for every ball and really show them?!’ (Of course he’d have to make sure his translator was on hand ehRichard Arlison

Unfortunately I’m not sure they have the mentality for that and are just as likely to sulk even further. I’d love them to prove me wrong though.
The very fact that we're having this conversation is an indictment of his leadership. We shouldn't have to talk about commitment and fight. It should always be there as an absolute given. The best captain is the captain who can let his team do the talking with their performances on the pitch.
I'm just waiting for him and VDV to leave so we can get some real leadership in the team.

What you’d have to factor in though is every, single team would be up for giving us a bashing eapecially at our posh stadium.
We’d need to definitely make sure we have the right mentality throughout squad after some significant summer pruning. Let’s just hope we bin off Lange and get someone competent in.

We’ve no idea what our team is going to look like . I agree we should be more than good enough but we might end up with quite a few of our current loanees on the bench. It will kill us financially if we go down. Doesn’t compare to other clubs who have been relegated. More of our own should ensure some team spirit.
Totally disagree. The Championship is a 46-game slugfest, which our group of prima donnas aren't up for in the slightest. Our team line-up would be new and all over the place. Plus, every away game we'll be the highlight of that opposition's season and they'll be desperate to get one over the big boy. In no way would I see us breezing back up if we went down.
