Today was the day I lost hope.

We are definitely the worst team in the league. Forest are much better than us. West Ham are crap but have fight and keep picking up points.

I wondered if Leeds might fall back into it but they have some winnable fixtures coming up and a good points advantage.

Today we had players returning from injury, a great atmosphere, and some momentum from the last two matches and we got absolutely dicked by a team with no wins in 7.

Fuck.

A team full of fucking cowards.

Some of these cheeky cunts were actually blaming us a few months back when they discussed walking off the pitch, at half and full time, while snubbing the magnificent THFC supporters who gave these useless fuckers everything today.

That second half performance was pathetic.

One of the most shameful days in Spurs history.

Who do some of these players think they are?

If we do go down this year I think we will really struggle in the championship as well. You need fight in that league which we dont have as a club. We will have a load of money to spend but we will be having to put together virtually a whole new squad. Behind the scenes we are an absolute shambles and I bet with Lange and Vinai in charge no work will be done in planning a thought out strategic plan n case of relegation. Add to that, teams will see us as their cup final every time we play.
.

We'll never be rid of the shame and abuse. It'll follow the club for at least the next 25 years.
Mate

No one really gives a fuck anymore - opposition fans have got their own shit to deal with and most fans know that it's just entertainment nowadays rather than a competitive league - the game is corrupt to shit.

I'm not even that bothered if Woolwich win shit this season...... I couldn't give less of a fuck.

Obviously I don't want them to, but it will literally be "Bollocks.....ah well......what's on the other side"

Not really. Newcastle and Villa are hardly being shamed for going down recently.
It's about how strong you bounce back. We still have the infrastructure there with the right owners/recruitment/manager there is no reason we should not get back to the top end.
Newcastle had been relegated recently prior to 2017, and Villa had nowhere near our wealth when they went down. It's far more embarassing and shameful for us to go down than either of them.

Unless the club miraculously gets sold when we go down, we'll be relying on the same dipshits who got us relegated to bring us back up. I suspect it'll be at least 3 seasons in the Championship.

Newcastle being relegated wasn't really a story though. They've been down there multiple times in my lifetime. Spurs going down is just a different story altogether.

Gray and Bergvall will be amongst the most sought after by premier league teams when we go down, they won't be staying
We're not selling 15 players in one window.

We also have more leverage over the younger players on longer contracts and lower wages. They will be here.

Outgoings:
Muani (end of loan)
Palhniha (end of loan)
Bissouma
Bentancur
Romero
VDV
Spence
Porro
Gallagher
Solanke
Richarlison
Vicario

I reckon that's it.
Odobert/Tel will stay. Sarr is 50/50.
Maddison and Kulu if they are not dead will feel like they owe us one and will stay.

It's grim. We can't win a game. It's a vicious cycle and it's insane pressure on all of us,including the players. I'm not going to blame the majority of them. It's not deliberate on their part.

None of that is seeking to make excuses but it's a fact, and every single team and their manager who plays us knows it as well. It makes us too easy to plsy against. It creates and leads to mistakes.

We enjoy no good fortune and feel the world is against us, our heads drop too easily and as a result we look so much poorer than the individual parts.

It's the exact opposite of a team who secure win after win. Rarely are they as good as it appears but....

Something will have to change is stating the obvious.

Anyone who wants to leave and has suitors will. They'll just down tools and force a move. We will lose everyone of value, except for maybe Maddison/Deki because of their injuries.
