The fuckers are smirking. They couldn’t give less of a fuck. That’s who’s running the club we all love.
this is the problem, the people who are hiring these people havent got a clue what they are doing, all falls back on the owners. if the owners dont have a clue, they aint going to employ people that have a clue.

we are in such a shit position now, i see a little article about seismic changes in the summer regardless of what happens...yet again it will be a load of decisions made by people who havent got a clue, so it means nothing, if anything it could do more damage.

It won't. If we get out of it, it will be same old shit by enic promising the world and delivering underwhelming shit. Bit like an election campaign tbh 🙂

Anyway, we're back in 17th, which some thought was just fine last season, so I expect they will feel a lot more comfortable with it than others.

No one thought it was fine.

People tried to warn you that it wasn't simply down to the manager and sacking him wouldn't have us magically "fly up the table". You didn't listen.

In August you were on here gloating about how Thomas Frank was the messiah. You were so fucking full of hubris.

Now here we are. and you still won't take any fucking responsibility for how catastrophically wrong you were. And taking pops at people who have been proved manifestly correct. 🤷‍♂️

About 5 weeks ago I was on here having a pop at all this talk of relegation, accusing people of being overly dramatic, and how we were not in any danger of going down. What a deluded fool I was.

After today, I think the only thing that can save us is West Ham having a worse run in than us. On current form, that does not seem likely.

I think we're screwed. Let's hope that statement turns out the as foolish as my last one.

I'm by nature an optimist but when the poll went up on this thread I hit "No" immediately.

I've seen this coming from the moment the summer window closed. An already thin squad, demoralised by sacking a manager they believed in and replaced with a decent guy with zero charisma; then hit with an injury crisis almost as bad as the previous season.

Without belief there's nothing. Our squad is midtable at best. Take away belief and we end up here. What a fucking series of catastrophic mistakes we made post Bilboa. We'll live it for years.

All those games we played against teams in the bottom half of the table, even with injuries, I thought our line-ups were, on paper, pretty decent and relatively better than the opposition, on paper.

It just shows that between the manager and the players, something wasn't translating their capability and talent, into results. Our squad is no way the 18th worst in the division, which, when we get relegated, that's how it will appear.

It comes back to ENIC appointing unsuitable managers and too many players who lack the right attitude to graft when the going gets tough.

Shockingly bad in terms of attitude is Romero, VdV, Spence
Our only hope is that West Ham are probably worse.
But in terms of form, West Ham look better. I can't see us winning another game.
