We don't know what was going on behind the scenes. Was he sacked purely for the results? Was it the results plus the horrid asthetics? Had players indicated contempt? Was it just fan/media pressure?
If it was the latter of the 4, then yes, he probably would have got some more results. Any of the others though and tbh, we'd be no better off.

They're probably discussing that they was right in their minds and owners shouldn't have sacked Frank.......something they should have done themselves when we lost 3 nil away to Forest in December

I believe they were focused on not admitting they'd been foolish in the summer window and with Frank's hire. Too foolish. They wanted to appear to have the situation under control more than they wanted to admit they'd gotten it all wrong and that drastic changes were required.

The foolhardy statements early this year from the mugs upstairs probably prolonged Frank's stay beyond what was deserved as well. Once they had that muppet whose name I detest sat in front of a camera claiming we were not going to panic and were going to stay on course because the course was right, they had painted themselves into a corner.

They publicly backed him - when, in late January/early February? - if they'd just been silent they might have felt free to bring the axe sooner.

What's the saying - "it's better to be silent and thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."

These turnips cared more about their reputation and branding, appearing to be the biggest brains around.

I think they will both have £12k road bikes (I like road bikes btw), and conform to certain "all the gear, no idea" twat steretype. I reckon they cycled 8km and then had a couple of matchas each, before heading back.
 
Funny thing that relegation is the only way to get rid of all trash we accumulated over recent years.

Vuskovic, Gray and boys from academy - losing those would hurt me personally. Anyone else leaving - dont care that much.

But because i have no faith in current board and their ability to conduct such big overhaul in one window - really hope we stay in PL somehow.
 
Relegation does not mean we lose players. Of course some will leave and good thing to but one season, if it comes to that is not a career breaker.

There's no big tournament next year so if God forbid we do go down, it's unlikely we lose too many who will be considered necessary to take us back up.

As stated, despite the obvious laughter or derision I think we would buy ourselves up.
 
The vast majority of our players don’t deserve the opportunity to lead us back out of the championship.
Fuck them all. Il give gray, bergvall, tel and a few a pass but the majority can go get fucked

But remember, we were only bad in the league last year because Ange threw the league matches to focus on the Europa League. We didn't lose 22 matches because we were shit and he was a moron.

I hope everyone who peddled that bullshit now understands that you can't simply just choose to stop losing once a losing menality has seeped its way into a club.

Wasting your breath mate, the same people who defend him against 22 league defeats have seen the "repair job" he did at Forest and are still calling for him to come back and save us, despite his dishing on the Overlap.
