Anyone that thinks if we go down (god forbid) we will bounce straight back needs to give their heads a wobble.
The Championship is brutal, extra matches, TV matches at stupid times, everyone out for us. Lose at least half the current team, it will be tough.
I was there in 77 and as Nutter-Naylor Nutter-Naylor said somewhere, sometime, the players were so connected to the fans. Not this lot.
77/78 was the best year ever. It won't be the same.

I agree it will be a long hard road . It’s going to be a few years before we come back but we will come back .

Its a tough division. I think if any 'big' team doesn't come back up at the first attempt, then things start to go really pear shaped.

Part of me wonders how bad it would actually be.

Stack the squad with academy kids, build a bond and identity with the fans again. Try and get a real singing section going again, cheaper tickets…

There’s teams in the Championship that play great football too ie Borough…

If you offered to me like that and guarantee new owners, I’m not sure I’d see it as a disaster if it meant coming back stronger.

I don’t want to go down, and I don’t think we will in the end either but I can’t lie and say the Premier League is a rewarding experience as a Spurs fan. If anything, it’s just a case of waiting to see which new way you can get fucked over every week

If we do go down I think it will make Leeds look like a walk in the park compared to us , would be years before we could even hope to be back in the CL, the more I think about it the more fucked I think we will
