My thinking is that I said "With our squad and resources, we should..." - it's crazy that we don't think we will, with all the money we've spent. I don't think we will either, but we should, given the players we have at our disposal.
But needs a manager who can drive us to wins not Tudor. Have we looked like winning any game since his been in charge.

Well we drew against Liverpool ( against expectations ; but seemingly LFC are’nt what they were right now ) . We played well against AM ( again possibly not the greatest test ) but then were besten by a Notts Forest team , who were simply better that us on the day .

Those first two games give us something to build on ( possibly? ) .

If ( and its obviously a big ”if ” ) Igor has the stomach for the fight , I’d say go with him , analyse what went wrong against Forest and back him to the end of the season ( barring something disasterous happening ) .

Why start again from scratch if we don’t have to .

TLDR ; I believe there were some green shoots in the LFC and Atletico games .

Well the problem is I think Tudor was directly to blame for a lot of the second half issues against Forest.

His substitutions negatively impacted what was, by our standards, a decent showing and we never recovered. You say Forest were better on the day, but we outplayed them in the first half and looked on top. It was because of Tudor that they took control.

When your own manager is making unforced errors and hurting the team in a relegation scrap you have to wonder if he's the right guy. We looked better against Pool and Atletico but it was one step forward and two steps back as we shat the bed in the game that really mattered.

I couldn’t disagree; but if it’s a learning curve , why interrupt it now , if you don’t have to .

Like I said , his head may not be in the right place ( understandably ) , and my guess is that it’s not , but if he IS up for it why roll the dice again ?

I don’t know what the right path is ; I’ll just have to trust the highly paid intelligentsia who run our Club to make the correct decisions . As mad as it sounds , but I’ve no other choice.

With our guys in charge whatever choice they make, however logicial, will be the wrong one.

I think it's written in the stars that we'll go down tbh. Just feels like the universe (and 5 years of horrific decision making) has conspired to fuck us this season.

I just realized another thing, which goes perfectly goes with the exceptionally bad luck that Tottenham were born with.

It is a World Cup year, most players, if not all, who are involved with their national team will be taking it easy to make sure they don''t get injured and miss the WC. The manager need to find away to get that out of their system for the remaining matches or at least the next 4.

I tell you, I am almost there, I even started looking at the Championship table to see what teams are there. Oh GOD!!!!!

100%
We have more internationals than all the teams around us. From more teams heading to the World Cup.
You only need to look at how many are away now for us, Vs West Ham etc.

This is a good point which will go unnoticed because it is an unquanitifiable factor - the fact that Spurs have significantly more international players headed to the world cup and starting for their respective sides compared with Forest, Leeds, and West Ham will impact the fight and willingness to go into 5050's undoubtedly.

On the flip side though, the players will know that if they aren't performing for their club then they may lose their starting position at international level which may actually be an incentivizing factor.

I think it depends how sure each player is of their starting position. The likes of Romero knows he will start regardless and therefore will be more concerned about getting injured than whether his performances impact his position in the Argentina starting 11.

I’ve got to believe man

I'm accepting the situation.

It's dawned on me that our skinflint owners, especially Levy, may have been planning for this all along.

We have the likes of Lankshear, Devine, Moore and Donley who are already Championship ready; More so than Prem ready.

Adding these players to the likes of Bergval, Gray, Odebert, Tel, Souza and Vuskovic while persuading a few senior players, probably Solanke, Spence and Danso to give us a season is the most likely outcome here.

My money is on Oliver Skipp coming back too.

When you think about it it's just obvious.

An ENIC low wage, low expectation heaven.

Happy with getting back to the Prem in less than 5 years without the moaning legacy supporters and a reduced expecatation from the younger crowd who will become the new victims of these misers.

What a future.

-----Spence----Danso-----VDV----Souza----
---Bentancur---Palhinha--
----------Kudus-----Xavi---Maddison------
----Solanke--
If we can somehow manage to get to something like that for the last 3 games, we might just be ok.

🙏

Other than the worst double pivot of doom, that’s not far off. I’d hope Udogie can stay fit for the season, Souza can’t defend 1v1 in this league yet.

Kinsky
Spence Romero VDV Udogie
Gray Gallagher
Kudus Xavi Maddison
Solanke

That team under RDZ will keep us up.

How many goals did we concede with that DP?

Udogie has switched between being injured and being shite all season.

How is Gray/Gallagher the combo for the crunch end of this run???

If we've got that A3 in action, then we can go a bit more sturdy in mf imo.

I did say "something like", so expected variations in response, but... odd tbh.

that DP is a main culprit behind the complete destruction of any confidence in this team and as driver of our descent off a cliff. Not so much the individuals but the combination.

We had about 5 games in a row with 0.01xg created in a GAME!!!

They are the embodiment of the Frank ball that might relegate us. Visually and statistically the worst manager in our history. If any coach wants to get us relegated, they are picking that DP.

a) you avoided my question

b) did we have - Kudus/Xavi/Maddison/Salanke in our final 3rd?
