The league is just too competitive for us. Most teams have squads that can put it up to anyone. We were operating on mid 2000s football settings and thought there were still enough Steve Bruces to farm points off.

If we get relegated this is on nothing else but us as a club . Nothing to do with other clubs and luck .
We should never be in this position .
And those who have gotten us here should hang their heads in shame .

But are you really surprised?

This is what this club has invested in, instead of proper players.

Fans don't deserve it, but these bastards certainly do.

I hope they rot in hell for what they've done to this club.
Nah some of the fans do too, those that have spent the entire season pining for a cunt that took us to 17th place last season are getting exactly what's been coming to them...

You've just got to laugh at this point.

No amount of worrying and stressing is going to keep us up, we already hit the iceberg. The lower compartments are flooded. Let the band play.

Agreed. I'm not wasting any more time worrying about it. Some will call it pessimism but I've accepted we're down for ages now. We're a truly awful team and can't even compete with the likes of Leeds and Forest. Fuck it, bring on next season.

They lose out on Premier league money.

They would get a parachute payment for up to 3 seasons.

They will have to sell players at a discount.

Not true. Why do you think they would have to do this?

They will be stuck paying the players they cant move at inflated wages.

Again; not true. Levy had clauses placed in all the player contracts he dealt with which means player wages would be reduced by 50% in the event of relegation.
