We really can’t afford for Spam to pick up more than a point in there next 2 games, (Brentford,Woolwich), i know Newcastle look shot but I still don’t think they lose at home to spam in their last home game of the season, Spam will beat Leeds on the final day, need it in our own hands for sure.

Not confident against Villa but maybe we’ll get break opportunities. Today was a slog against wolves who got men behind the ball. Hope Solanke, Xavi and or Maddison are available.

I strangely feel less confident after this game than I did before, such was the performance and due to the 2 new injuries.

We’ve been shit this season but injuries have been crazy. I’d argue we’re going to need to navigate the end of the season without our 5 best attacking players - that’s crazy.

Re fixtures - Villa very tough on paper but I’d be shocked if they didn’t rest a load of players for EL semi 2nd leg.

Chelsea hard to see us getting much but they are mentally all over the place and the manager is an unknown. Could we sneak something?

That leaves Leeds and Everton at home which we have to turn up for.

I know points wise they look solid but I do think it’s very feasible Forest lose their next 3 games. Tough fixtures and EL surrounding that.

That’s the glass half full view.

Of course the bigger problem is we’re pretty shit.

Decent points but :

You need to buy a different glass imo .

Or at least pour something different into it .

West Ham's next 2 games are Brentford (A) and Woolwich (H).

Our next 2 games Villa (A) and Leeds (H).

This is our opportunity.
They're picking up at least a point at Brentford, while we'll get battered at Villa.

They'll get another point (or more) vs Woolwich...Leeds will beat us at ours or we'll get a draw.

It's over.

Funny and inexplicable things happen in football JD ; we all know that .

For instance; who in their right mind could have predicted where we are now .

It ain’t over yet .

This is the thing. We are completely rank and by miles the worst team not yet relegated. But in Times like these you just dont know. West ham get turned over one week and it could change everything.
Having said that after today its hard not to think theyll get 4 points off Brentford and woolwich and we'll get one from villa and Leeds.

I’ve think we’ve reached the stage where any form of rational analysis has well and truly gone out of the window .

I think we can actually prosper from the madness we’ve been landed in . Nothing else seems to have worked tbf .

# trying to cling to anything

No chance we beat villa we struggled against a shit wolves team

It's easy to forget the pressure we were playing under today. These players are not used to it and it clearly weighs on them, they are suffering a lot out there. When the players realised West Ham were leading it clearly affected them.

Hopefully this win today gives them a boost because if we play like we did today we won't be winning any more games. We don't have any players on the level of Bowen but the rest of our team is better than West Ham, we have to make that count.
