Brentford away, Woolwich, Newcastle away is a tough set for West ham

Really can't see maximum point from that at all.

We beat villa and Leeds and then worse case scenario is it will be in our hands final day home to Everton.

I'm not confident of surviving but the four points fork Brighton and wolves have given us a shot. Expected 1 point from 6 originally

We need 4 wins to be safe. Even if West Ham lose to Woolwich we still have to make up the 2 points and then stay ahead of them.
The problem is when West Ham win a match like vs Everton yesterday, even when we win our match in the same game week, their 2 points lead remains but with less opportunity to gain on it.

So even though we won yesterday, today we're actually in a worse league position than before the matches started because we have less opportunities to catch them.

Yes, it's too little too late. The Brighton game was the last chance saloon, win that and it would look different but we blew it.

No mate.

We are 3 points closer to Forest and Leeds United than we were @ 16.30pm yesterday.

Think regarding West Ham it was because they scored the late winner when for a few mins we were above them, maybe if they were ahead and winning their game before we got ahead in ours ,we might have taken a little bit more because we came back so didn't lose ground .That winner for West Ham was definitely a right kick in the teeth and is deflating for us .
I get why people are annoyed, I am as well. That late winner was a proper kick in the teeth. But that one result isn’t the nail in the coffin it’s being made out to be.

A few minutes of being above them then dropping back again doesn’t suddenly erase the fact we kept pace and stayed right on their heels.

If anything, the key takeaway is simple: we’re still in it, and we’ve stopped the rot. That matters a hell of a lot more than people are giving it credit for.

You also have to factor in west hams motivation for this.
Here is a club that claims, they won a world cup, because of three players.
They have barely won fuck all, finishing in the top about 7 or 8 times in their history.
So for them, to be able to claim they sent us down will cause parties involving copius amounts of jellied eels and pie and mash.
This is what they want, we have helped by making it easier for them.

Villa away - defeat

Leeds at home - draw

Chelsea away - defeat

Everton at home - draw

Bye bye Premier League.

I think Villa away represents s better opportunity for Spurs to get something than your instincts tell you.

Villa were good at winning, after Europe on a Thursday evening, in the first half of the season.

Not so much in the second half of the season.

They've had the odd poor result and performance, after Europe, in the second half of the season.

They are playing Forest either side of our game against them next Sunday evening.

Spurs have to target this game for 3 points.
