I still think that the Woolwich Hollywood ending, of them winning the league and Spurs being relegated, on the last day of the season, probably in injury time, is the script the Premier League and the referees have been working to all season.

Watching the Villa game was surreal.

Having been conditioned to watching Spurs have free kicks continually given against us, for the whole of the season, when it didn't happen away at Villa I knew something was up.

I really hope and believe we should beat Leeds on Monday but;

Deep down I suspect Spurs have only been given life support to prolong the agony until the last day.

Always in sport there are poor decisions, but on balance good teams have good luck and bad teams have bad luck. The better you are the luckier you get, and the worse you are the more you make poor mistakes and the more errors haunt you.

Yes there have been cases where we should have got a penalty or what have you, but every club has those. The fact that we haven't got one is more owed to the fact that we are useless in the final third all season and can't possess the ball in the opponent's area, in my opinion.

Just another way to say that when you are shit everything comes out shitty

If there were a grand conspiracy at the league level I would expect it to be to keep us up, for money and whatever else. Clearly no one has that in mind.

Our games have also been officiated with a double standard regarding yellow and red cards.

This has been a consistent theme; before and after us entering the relegation battle and the bottom 3.

Spurs are shit but; we have definitely been helped into the gutter.

Woolwich have also been helped to the pinnacle.

The Premier League is bent.

I truly believe that is the case and suspect more and more supporters, of all clubs, will reach this conclusion over time.

All VAR does is give the officials the ability to make sure they follow the script as closely as possible. Before, there was the possibility that the on field official would miss something or make a mistake that went against the script. VAR ensures that can never happen again.

Just look at how VAR invented a rule in the Spam/Everton match to make sure Spam didn't have a player sent off for deliberate handball in the box and no penalty to Everton.

More evidence - how many times has a ref been called over to the monitor and stuck with his original decision? I've personally never seen it.

I wasn't disputing that Woolwich are being shoed in by friendly officiating, but rather I don't see the bias against us that that isn't attributable to simple incompetence (which is pervasive) and our own lack of creating good chances.

Make offsides fully automated to begin with.

There's existing tech out there to determine whether the ball has crossed the line...apply it to throw ins, corner kicks.

Also, it's possible to know for certain who last touched the ball without asking a stupid/biased/corrupt human.

Grow a pair and send off players who dive (Saka, Martinelli), kick their man all game off ball (Van Dijk, Gabriel, Enzo, Cash), try to get the opponent yellow/red carded, fake injury, still come talk to the ref without the armband...and keepers who take forever to restart play. Or and prick coaches (sorry, Arteta) who basically live on the pitch for 90+ mins.

Re handball - have a ref on VAR but alongside a former player (with no PL past/ties) and a random person. Give them 30 secs tops to review & decide...majority wins. But of course the rule needs looking at first cause right now it's moronic and so open to interpretation. That shotclock and 3-man panel majority thingy can be applied to other decisions too like red card incidents.

Oh and force all refs to take a lie detector test every month

I said since the start VAR should be administered by a completely separate body to the PGMOL to prevent basically everything we’ve seen go wrong every season with VAR always backing their mates on the pitch over getting decisions correct.

This is the biggest problem for me , there is still one fuckwit who thinks the correct decision was made , has he got marbles for eyes???
