This is the biggest problem for me , there is still one fuckwit who thinks the correct decision was made , has he got marbles for eyes???
So if these twats can't reach a consensus when sitting around a table days afterwards what hope does the game have .
Whoever the one is should be sacked.

Standards are never going to improve if someone sees that incident and thinks it was the right call.

that Everton penalty would not have made an ounce of difference to the result - they scored 2mins later anyway !! Plus of that penalty was given they may have not scored it and then not scored 2mins later.

If we'd scored a lot more goals and accumulated a lot more points we wouldn't be in the relegation zone.

Personally I think there's a conspiracy among our players and former managers to be shit.

Tell me how it works then ? West Ham would find themselves level at 1-1 after x amount of minutes regardless and still went on to win that game. I could understand if it was 1-1 at the time of the bad decision but it wasnt. Everton equalised straight after regardless.

Because goals change games and games state and it completely changes the mentality of the players and the managers on both teams, you can play that game again a million times over and you will get different outcomes literally every time you played it.

Anyone who's played football before at any level will tell you this.

Of course goals change games. My point is that Everton score like two mins later. Which they wouldn’t have done had they been awarded that penalty (and scored it btw) - the pattern of play would have changed. Everton scored in 88th min. The penalty award would have been around 86th min. Your point is invalid

Aren't you two arguing the same point?

Everton don't get two goals if they get the penalty, but we never know how the match plays out because football is chaos not order.

Utter nonsense. They are two different passages of play. If a team is denied a nailed-on penalty, that's almost as good as being denied a goal. Whether or not they actually score a goal 2 mins later is totally irrelevant.

Maybe Everton score that penalty, the score again a minute later and again a minute after that, then a minute after that. So, VAR stitched them of 3 goals, not just one.

To say they wouldn’t have scored again is mental. They might not have, but nobody can be sure.

PGMOL has one vote on the panel.

We don’t know who has marbles for eyes, but it would be a good bet that the PGMOL rep always backs the ref & VAR.
