All those points we threw away late , very late, some last kick of the game. . Brighton , West Ham , Man Utd ( 10 men) , Bournemouth ( Semenyo's farewell ) , Leeds.
Any way of those and we are one hour away from safety. So frustrating.

The mad thing is that we've got 26 points away from home this season. 3rd highest total in the league.

I doubt that anyone has ever been relegated with that record. Priority moving forward needs to be getting to bottom over our injuries and figuring out how we can make our home form better. Can start by making life uncomfortable for away teams. Rip out the away dressing room over the summer and make it 10 times shitter.

If Toon win here then it's less than 1% chance we are going down. Toon have a strong bench. TBH it is shameful how much stronger they are than us given our greater resources.
Tbf if half our resources weren't injured we'd look a lot better, albeit, still pretty shit. But not relegation battle shit.

Kudus - Solanke - Kulusevski
Maddison
Palhinha - Bentancur
Udogie - VDV - Romero - Porro
Kinsky
That's more or less what we should have, along with a load of depth.

Yes it is shameful.
As for the 1% chance , let me remind you we had a 0.67% chance AFTER the west ham defeat , not before , but hey , here we are. It was much higher than that back then and it's much higher than that right now.

I’ve got the Sky Sports app goal notifications on.

Trouble is the weather app uses the same notification tone and there’s been on/off showers for the last hour FFS!

:mourcry:

Think it would be xavi on the left.

Xavi maddison kudus

Potentially impressive if we had a good striker to match

Great thing about them losing here would be Leeds assuming we'd get a point on the final day at home to Everton, which would cancel out any wild ideas they might have of beaching it to sink us.

They're 'let loose' to fully focus on winning that game and maintaining/extending their unbeaten record of the last 7 games.
