Disagree. He drives the ball up the pitch taking opposition players out of the game and allowing team mates to join in the attack.
You can have an influence on attacks without direct contributions.
Had we taken him, it would have been like a 6 pointer too, as they wouldn't have had him helping them.

? Tel's scored 4, two of them he scored as a striker (against Leeds (A) and Utd)
