Don't assume! I would never have put us in the position we are in. I think with RDZ we should be looking higher now, but the results and our position dont lie - we deserve to finish wherever we finish so to assume that for a 3rd season in a row we aren't going to finish 17th is I think presumptuous.

What this has taught me is to be a lot more humble. This season has been absolute torture. I just hope we can do what we need to do to forget this season....

If the club doesn't learn it's lesson of the last two years and we finish towards the bottom again then there really is no hope, one thing though they seem to have got one thing right so far and that's the manager and he immediately takes us up another couple levels of what we've witnessed over the past 2 years.

Yes, I like de Zerbi.

And if he gets us out of this mess, he’ll automatically have the club and fans on his side.

A lot of players will leave this Summer, which is a good thing. As you say, if we don’t learn our lessons and do something about our front line then we’re cooked.

We need to stay up, first and foremost but 100%.

Equally however and this is the contentious and more difficult bit, you must have the right players at the club.

A lot of the players who are supposedly our leaders are not what are needed at this club. I think that group are obvious.

My worry is that those in the club and maybe De Zerbi don't see it.

Culture needs to be right and I think it's far more important to focus on that and get these 2 clowns out than just merely signing good players, we need direction first and foremost.

Yhey are only part of the problem. Anyone who thinks it's just them 2 bozos will be quite mistaken

Let's seal safety and then have this debate. A proper one without some sense of uncertainty as is still the case.

Completely agree with you re RDZ - he can make us play, but we need Lange and Vinai out and a really decent transfer strategy in the summer to move us in the right direction.

We cannot afford to dilly dally on transfers. Need to bring players in that lift the quality early and get rid of those who don't and there are a lot those.
 
Vicario, Richarlison, RKM, Bissouma, Sarr I'd be moving on without question.

Obviously there's other who may well get moved on and rightly so, but those five would be first up imo.

They've all had countless opportunities. Not good enough.

Only 12 points from 6th to 16th is a tiny gap. We'd be somewhere in that range with a normal-ish number of injuries and De Zerbi in charge the whole season - exactly where would in no small part be down to luck. But it really wouldn't take a ton of improvement in the summer, combined with far fewer fixtures, for us to qualify for Europe next season.

Biggest thing club can do in the summer apart from sack the two bags of monkey crap is completely refresh the medical and physio department

The injuries of the past 2 seasons are a disgrace. Watching Summerville run around like a mad man for the past 3 months, not a hammy or ACL in sight . If he was a spurs player he'd been down by November/December

So many to choose. Vic, Dragusin, Spence, Bissouma, Sarr, Muani, Davies, Richy, Solomon, Scarlett, Veliz, and decisions on Palhinha (i am not 100% on him) and Bentancur (never been sure on him).

Its a massive summer. I think one of Romero or VDV to go (potentially both) so we need a lot of recruitment!
