However, I've now adjusted my mindset to realise that relegation itself might have a silver lining in that it's the only thing that forces the ownership to get the fuck out.

To be taken over by a dodgy Chinese billionaire who made his money from owning Casinos in Macao. Plus they will hope to get back into the PL asap to get more money even if they intend to sell up. I'd rather they employ a few people who know what they are doing.
To me personally no silver lining if/when we go down. I am so angry about our situation already that I cannot even fathom watching Spurs vs Watford or some shit like this.
 
Terrible situation, I could really see the worst happening next weekend. Spam go a goal up early and we go a goal down from a set pieces which im sure will happen and I dont think we come back from it, players are too fragile.

Despite that RDZ has been brilliant, his impact has been fantastic and with the right players we could go to the top. Trouble is the board acted far too late and we simply dont have the attackers.
 
PP offering 9/2 for us to get relegated. The only way that can (realistically ) happen is Everton & West Ham both win. If you do a double on those 2 results it's 5.97/1 to significantly better odds than a straight relegation bet.

I have lumped on a fair few quid on it because I would gladly pay that money for us to stay up and if we don't I'm on holidays in 2 weeks and the winnings will cover a number of nights out where I will badly need alcohol.

I rarely if ever bet on or against us but I guess I'd happily pay £100 to see us stay up so a £500 windfall to soften the blow of relegation is actually quite appealing.
I think I'll open a new account with someone while I'm at it and take advantage of the new customer offers. (Free bets etc)
