We were completely dominating - and had our three subs on the touchline waiting to come on - and then Muani plays a simple ball 5 yards behind Bents.
Not sure this one can be put on de Zerbi.

Dominating? you didn't watch the same game. Everyone could see the game was slipping away by not bringing Madders on sooner. We were completely dominating - and had our three subs on the touchline waiting to come on - and then Muani plays a simple ball 5 yards behind Bents.

We did dominate for about 5 minutes before conceding the 2ndDominating? you didn't watch the same game. Everyone could see the game was slipping away by not bringing Madders on sooner.
Plays Muani but completely mugs off Gray who'd been one of our best players up until he came in and benched him. Not brave enough to chuck a kid on and sticks to Muani and Tel based off of some sort of overhype ability nonsense.
It's the lack of passing ability imo. Only Madders has any ability to unlock the defense with a pass. Xavi can sort of do that, but he's more of a dribbler than passer. This squad’s biggest issue isn’t talent/ability, it’s football intelligence, or lack of it. That’s why every manager ends up looking helpless. The amount of poor decisions they make in matches is ridiculous for players at this level.
Stop blaming every fkn manager we get in ffs.

Although I do think DeZerbi has done pretty well in an extremely difficult situation, I'd like to point out that even if he wins against Everton, he'll still have got less points in his first seven games than either Frank or Ange.

I know it's been under very different circumstances, but I think it's still a little concerning going forward.
ok
He doesn't have to play wide forward. There are more formations to play than just 433. Porro would do a better job there and play spence right back. There are multiple solutions there in which bozo Muani doesn't fucking start. Rewarding a shit cunt playing with a lack of effort over one of our better players ,who actually fucking stood up and puffed his chest out and played for the shirt in our horrible run is a fucking bitch move. Because it's the fucking easy option to drop the young kid who won't create to much and is a good professional.Gray is not a wide forward.
He is playing the only wide forwards he has. It's not his fault we didn't buy anyone in Jan.
Even with that handicap we're smashing teams in xG every week. Gray isn't going turn that xG into goals is he?
It is what it is. We simply have to hope they find a way to get the goals we need to get the point we need.

Well, he should’ve hauled RKM off earlier. We were completely dominating - and had our three subs on the touchline waiting to come on - and then Muani plays a simple ball 5 yards behind Bents.

Or better still, not started him in the first place.
Won 2 drawn 2 lost 2 is hardly pulling up trees. It's just better than the previous disaster. Aston Villa threw that game in all fairness(rightfully so for them) and we struggled to beat one of the worst teams in prem history in Wolves. We got lucky against Leeds that kinsky played a blinder and he saved us vs Brighton aswell. Nothing much has changed other than maybe a few less mistakes and no Vicario and Romero with their multiple fuck ups.I fucking love Archie Gray and I cannot wait to see the back of Kolo Muani but you're not being sensible here.
Since De Zerbi came in - and especially since he decided on this 11 in this formation (post Sunderland) we have not just been better on all key metrics but have been SMASHING those key metrics. The improvement over what came before is staggering.
So, no. I disagree. As much as I hate Muani and love Gray I think messing with the system that has us picking up points and winning these key metrics which leads to those points is a completely insane thing to suggest. As much as I love Archie I'm not swapping him with Muani and moving Gallagher wide right like Tudor did. It didn't work. What De Zerbi is doing is WORKING.
It might be too little too late but with the shit he has to work with he's doing wonders. Just get behind him and hopefully he keeps us up and then NEXT year you'll see a whole different show.
