Management Roberto De Zerbi

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Vinai and Lange wanted to keep Frank till end of season. Was the board that removed him in the end and ended up getting De Zerbi. Vinai and Lange are the CEO and Sporting Director they are supposed to be the guys that know what they are doing, that Joe Lewis’s kids and son in law had to fix it gives me the indication that Lange and Vinai shouldn’t be anywhere near this club. That have to go in the summer.

The son in law brought in Tudor so no-one escapes the bad decision making until DeZerbi was persuaded to join

It’s interesting that he has taken the youngest players out of the midfield and is not turning to them in the same way that we were reliant before. I think that’s a very sensible decision in the circumstances despite how good Gray and Berg are.

Somebody expressed surprise at Gray not being called upon. I stated good player wrong time.

We will see what becomes of both. Impossible to know for now but De Zerbi might not rate either but more likely he sees this situation as the need for experience.

Our tactics, and flow were such that Villa couldn't break up the game with cynical fouls, and dropping at the slightest of touches, as is per normal for them. Hats off to RDZ, as we found a way to stump Villa, and also capitalise on the defeat of a relegation rival, which doesn't seem to happen often for us.

Benta has come in and been outstanding. That RDZ can play him and Palhinha together and have it be so different from the shit we saw under Frank speaks to RDZ's talent as a manager.

I know we’ve had false dawns before, and I was one of them whoppers that originally said Frank would be a good appointment. But I genuinely believe he will improve us next season if we survive. It might take some time to get back to where we all want to be, but I think we’ve finally got the appointment right.

None of them have a single fucking clue. That’s the top and bottom of it.
The camera cut to Lange and Vinai, while we were two nil up and cruising, and they both looked as though someone had swapped their caviar with rabbit droppings.

I don't really subscribe to the theories from the tin-foil hat brigade, that they want us to go down, but seeing their complete lack of enthusiasm, at one of our best performances of the season does make you wonder.

At least Levy would allow himself a slightly satisfied smirk, when we played well.

This cannot be underestimated. Gray and Berg were playing because they HAD to at one point because we had no other options - there is no way we bought Gray to play 50 games for us already as a 20 year old, its the insane injuries over the past 18 months that forced it.

Having an experienced, confident midfield wins games

EDIT : I should point out im a big fan of both Berg and Gray (particularly Gray because of his attitude, and hes never shirked the responsibility of playing), but they were hung out to dry by the injuries and managerial changes / ineptitude

There's wanting what's best for a business and then there's giving a shit about THFC. I'm sure these two cunts do the former and even more sure they don't do the second

I don't judge anyone too quickly. We will see, but Frank was absolutely out of his depth.

Let's see on De Zerbi but it seems clear, that the players see a Manager in fron of them. Deliberate emphasis on capital M.

Yeah, it's been impressive stuff so far, but it's still early days.

I was cautiously optimistic about Frank too at the start, and look how that turned out!

“I can’t speak highly enough of him,” Gallagher said of the Italian. “He’s been so good. Every player has taken to him, everyone trusts him, he makes you feel good, confident … he’s bringing the best out of players, and it’s only the start. Hopefully we can keep learning from him, hopefully we can build a great team and hopefully it can be the start of something great. We want to carry it on.

Fwens.

Oh that pan to them in the crowd almost cost me a new tv. I hate the sight of them.

Praying we get their departure news as soon as the season is done
