Management Roberto De Zerbi

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

That was probably the most "complete" performance I've seen from us this season. We got a full 90 minutes plus of committed and balanced Football, with every single player working in sync and leaving it all out there. Not a single one of them should be held to any form of criticism for that performance, we were superb.
Said it in another thread, and maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but I can't remember the time we've controlled a PL game against a decent team from start to finish like that since...maybe Poch?

We had some fantastic performances where we dominated games under Conte, Ange and even Mourinho, but I'm not sure I can recall many games where we controlled them for such extended periods. Conte and Jose were so anti-possession, while Ange's "100% all the time" approach guaranteed an element of chaos and little/no conventional game management.

Was a joy to behold. Now please do the same vs Leeds.

If he can keep us up he deserves £300m spending money and free rein to do whatever the fuck he wants to the squad.

Don’t want to hear a fucking peep from Lange or Vinai. Or ENIC for that matter. If we get bailed out it’s in spite of them. Be good little boys, take your medicine knowing that the financial hit you’re taking from a massive net spend is far, far better than the hit you’d have taken through relegation, pay the man, learn your fucking lesson.

I couldn't believe the audacity that prick had to stand on TV last week and say he was shocked that we were in a relegation battle. We lost 22 times under him last season. Yet he's surprised we're in a relegation battle?! The only reason we weren't in one under him last season was because the 18th placed side was so bad. He's a fucking grifter. No surprise he isn't in a job, and he'll never work in a top league ever again.
I hope he does..and hope he carries on getting twatted every game.
Eventually the cult will wake up.

I wasn't happy with his appointment. Nothing to do with his football philosophy, which is something I admire.

I just thought, and think, his volatile nature would cause huge problems and that he would not be a good fit in the medium to long term.

My concerns on the question of his volatility remain, but I am completely onboard with the turnaround in performances he has achieved thus far. We have real hope, now, of avoiding the drop and it is back in our own hands. Whatever happens in the last few games, he has given us hope and optimism again. At the end of a torrid season, that is really quite some achievement.

Yes and it’s coincided with a lot of posters on here making positive posts about our chances.

Still some that are negative or support Ange etc but the majority seem a lot happier including myself!!
I suspect those who fondly remember Ange, if only for the Europa League, myself included, are fully on board with De Zerbi and what he is trying to do.

I fully agree.

My fear is that it'll be Muani and Palhinha on a permanent, plus some kids. Hope I'm very wrong.

If Forest had kept him another month they'd be down by now

Didn't get to the see the game bar 10 mins in the first half on a stop, but even then it was crazy to see the difference a press can make. Frank was a wet blanket, a coward, and utterly incompetent. Bents back also seemingly making a massive difference, to the point where selling him probably doesn't make much sense should we stay up.

But bloody hell. Unbelievable start so far, I had my doubts about the appointment, but I'll gladly have egg on my face should he keep us up.

I think his passion spills over into what is seen as volatile, i love that passion, so much better than the dull PE teacher we had the start of the season.
