De Zerbi is a bit of a loose cannon so this is a typical case of "I believe it when I see it" but certainly positive if it's the case. Reminds me a bit of when Benitez was at Newcastle the season they got relegated. He had just been the manager for Real Madrid and I thought it was no chance he would stay with Newcastle in the Championship but obviously he did. Hopefully we will not get the chance to see whether he would follow us down or not.
The mission has been crystal clear this few months and with the transfer window shut, there's not been a lot of room for drama to emerge. We'll see what happens after today's match and as we go into the summer, regardless of the outcome. I'm hoping the club sees what he brings and backs him but lord knows with the fucking cretins we have in charge.
