Management Roberto De Zerbi

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I am optimistic about the new season, My sister-in-law has one son at the Chelsea academy and another at Brentfords academy. Both academies say that they are quite jealous of the Spurs academy.
I just hope that De Zerbi brings some of the academy players through and develope them lie we once did with a certain Mr H Kane.

What for? De Zerbi only managed us for 7 games so far. The comparison is apt. Except maybe you could say Ange had proper preseason that's all.

But let's not take away any credit from either manager and bicker at this point about this.

The comparison isn't apt. Comparing to a completely fresh squad, new season, with a near peak Son Heung Min is not apt

De Zerbi has been dealing with approx 11 fit players in an out of form team out of confidence. Apparently the same issues that led to the problems in the other 69 games, which is where the comparison is better balanced.

Amazing turnaround. Sorry I couldn't believe because the squad couldn't be trusted. But he's a fucking talented coach who still has a ceiling unknown to anyone. I was shocked he actually didn't turn up to be the fiery cunt I expected him to be. But now the season is saved, I wouldn't mind if he shows his true colours and whip out a machine gun and fire at some of the idiotic players we have.

Thanks De Zerbi. Next season with good players we might surprise alot of people...
i think this squd is good enough so no new players needed
:langetroll:

Points per game (first 7 games)
Ange Postecoglou
17 points
2.43 PPG
Roberto De Zerbi
11 pointw
1.57 PPG

I'm fully behind him - let it just be a reminder to you and all the boo boys who're always so quick to turn on anything semi positive the second the media are telling you to.

:ange-arms:

Ange sucked- end of. Every player we had either became long-term injury, or regressed as a player.

RDZ put together what had been carelessly managed by Ange and Frank.

Nice cherry picking of Ange's first 10 games. Tenure always needs to be judged in full when talking about it in retrospect.

I wanted him last summer and wanted him when we binned Frank. I’m so happy we have him as our manager. I like a spiky little fucker and he’s exactly what we needed. To keep us up with that utter abomination of a squad is a fantastic achievement. I hope they back him and let him build because I honestly believe this guy can take us places.

Well done and thanks Roberto 👏👏👏👏👏💙💙💙💙💙

I really hope Vicario, Romero, Dragusin, Udogie, Bissouma, Sarr, Richarlison, Solanke and Muani aren't among the 10, 11, 12 players he said we can rely on.

Porro, Bentancur, Tel...if they get yet another chance, I can live with that for one season and provided they aren't seen as key players, especially Porro & Tel.

Odobert & Kudus unfortunately going nowhere cause of injury.

But the first lot must absolutely go.

What do you think are his expectations for next year?

Mid-table? European places? More?!

Who knows man, so much shit to sort out in the Summer.

Thing is this league is volatile, as much as you can expect to finish mid table, 3 wins more then you're pushing top 6, 3 wins less then you're finishing just outside the relegation places so anyone calling a position right now is massively premature.

What if some or many of those players ARE in his plans? What are you going to do about it? Write a strongly worded letter?

Or maybe you could just try and put some trust in the bloke?

I didn't think he was a good fit for us, and was too volatile in temperament. I was wrong about the fit, and hope to be proved wrong about the temperament. He's done a magnificent job so far.
