I never heard it myself but I don’t doubt what you say; it was a very different culture back then. Chelsea was a dangerous place to go as a none white supporter, as was Everton ; but none were so openly and aggressively racist than Leeds United. When you’re in a ground seeing an entire stand Nazi saluting you know you’re in hell.

Players of all colours, nations and religions get booed at every ground, every game. Because booing an opposition player is part of the fucking game.

Id give up on football if I thought that in this day and age there was any section of a crowd, however small, at the club I support, that booed a player purely because he was black, Asian, Muslim, Jewish, Christian ... even American. (Just joking with the last one. You know I love y’all)

How do you know some aren't doing that for that reason? What makes you sure that we don't have racist people supporting the club?

I get it that people are protective of the club, I draw the line at aligning and protecting bigots and racists, they can go and fuck themselves.

You’re just being silly now. He was booed because he cheated to get Son sent off in the WHL game. And probably for making claims of racism that nobody else could find any evidence of. That brings the club into disrepute with ZERO evidence to support it. And he’s compounding it now by maintaining, with no evidence, that racism won because he got booed.
Should we ban booing at games?

Not chanting, but if he made a mistake on the pitch the criticism of him in the stands would include a racial element for sure. I used to stand on the shelf and you definitely heard stuff that would get you a lifetime ban today. That's how it was back then.

And some people are very angry about that maybe an element let their racial prejudice spill into booing, nobody can say without a doubt that didn't happen.
His response to our supporters booing him is what I would expect, I don't blame him at all. People have a right to boo who they want but should expect some push back for booing players who have made racial allegations.

And nobody can prove that it did. Innocent until proven guilty. If I want to boo Rudiger because I think he is a cheating cunt who tried to drag my club’s name through the shit to take the focus away from him being a cheating cunt, then I will. Loud as I can.
If that makes me a racist in Rudgiers eyes then so be it
