Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Stlducks Stlducks do you watch with the St. Louis Spurs group? Going to be in your town this weekend, trying to determine if I want to wake up and watch in public or stay in my hotel room. Likely depends on how Saturday goes.
No I actually live in Iowa now. A town where I might be the only person who knows what a Tottenham is.

I actually think we can win this. I think the way they set up will suit us. I think he will change Solomon for either Richy or Perisic and hopefully we see the horrible Lego head lose the plot after losing

It'll certainly be interesting.

We are 5 games in and yet to play against a team that presses with quality. Brentford and Sheffield Utd sat behind the ball. Man Utd are dreadful and Bournemouth offered pretty much nothing.

Woolwich on their day are one of the best pressing teams in the league. Their off the ball movement (certainly last season) was fantastic too.

We haven't come up against anyone as good as Saka and it'll also be the best midfield we've come up against. They won't allow Bissouma time. They won't let Maddison run with it. They'll overload and try and target our high line. Unlike many others have.

Make no mistake, we've had a great start but these are a different class to the teams we've played. They haven't performed anywhere near as well as they have last season yet they still sit level on points with us and 13/15 points. And as we know, form goes out the window.

It won't be easy. But we will give it a go. And I am optimistic because I know we aren't going to go there frightened.

Tbf, they havent come up against someone as good as us yet either.....won't have faced a fullback as good as Udogie or an am like Madders.

They haven't performed the way you're suggesting since last Christmas.

It can only be this team

Vic
Porro, Romero, VDV, Udogie
Sarr Bissouma
Kulu Maddison Solomon
Son

That is the team - we then have options in Richy and Johnson coming on at 60 mins for whoever isn't having the greatest game out of Kulu, Son or Solomon.

Royal can come on if Porro is getting ripped a new one.

Bookies (or rather the punters) don't give us a hope in hell,

Woolwich massive favourites as far as they're concerned.

There are many ways we could line up forward… but I kinda like the idea of:

Son - Richy - Kulu

To start. Reward Richy for his performance yesterday. Get him shithousing them. Balls whipped into the box by Porro, Madders and Kulu.

Then, Johnson to come on and run at them with Son to move central.
To me if Rich plays, so does Perisic

I like this. I like the idea of Ricky stirring the pot against them too

With CL midweek they won’t be able to play full steam for long stretches.

They will try and come out and hit us early. That nearly worked for UTD with their press at ours.

We do have a lean for sluggish starts so won’t be able to do that this time.

0-0 after 20 minutes and I’ll be feeling very bullish

4 points from these next 2 games is easily achievable is we actually get a fair ref , not even asking for everything to go our way just want a neutral ref for a change.
2 draws wouldn’t be a disaster. In a weird way better than 1 win and 1 defeat as we take points off both and remain undefeated.

I am on quite heavy meds so not sure if this makes sense!

It could be one hell of a match with us coming out on top. Watch in public. Even better if its a Spurs dominated pub.
