The FA allocated 30,500 each last season for Chelsea and Liverpool. That left 29k for Wembley guests box owners etc.
I think it's a disgrace that 1/3 of the available seats are not for fans of the clubs playing.

That’s partly why they put the semi finals at Wembley. Pretty much a 50/50 split I think?

FA cup is the showpiece in the calendar and people from across the grass roots layer of football are offered the chance to get FA cup final tickets. I think these people are often the true heartbeat of football in this country so I wouldn’t call it a “disgrace”. But each to their own.

And Wembley box holders pay their money to own the boxes. Can’t really blame them for being rich can you?

The box owners, I could be wrong, but think they're in addition to the 90k seats?
Even if they're not, they're a small portion of the 90k
The semi finals definitely are no where near 50/50 though. I managed to get a ticket for the Chelsea semi final in 2017? and I was on the 2nd or 3rd wave of tickets. It was 30-35k

The allocation isn't set in stone either. You may have a team like Spurs who would have a lot of demand, they could be playing Wigan, who probably don't have 30k fans in the world, let alone that want to travel all the way to Wembley. They may only take 20k and so Spurs would get more.

The trains from Manchester will be on strike on cup final day this year.

No, don’t laugh.

Last year the TO called me and quite brilliantly it was a lovely, helpful old lady with one of the kindest reminds-you-of-your-gran type voices. It worked. They got my money. They always seem to get my money.

:pochcry:

Really? That's shocking. Were the empty seats mostly in the Sheffield end? I noticed that the corporate area was pretty empty, but that’s quite normal.

The other semi looked pretty full though.
When we played Man City I pre booked a place on their official car pack - last Thursday they emailed me saying I could buy FOUR semi final tickets !! Cheapest seat available was £100

Semi finals are played at Wembley to100% maximise income for the FA

Yeah me too - apparently they have reserved my seat for next season ! Very nice of them - I’m leaning towards renewing ( surely next season can’t be as bad as this one!!) will see what my May pay slip looks like - announcing nagelsmann would be a clincher !
Yeah I'll be renewing just leave closer to the deadline
