Most of those on the "waiting list" do not want a season ticket, but there's no way to remove yourself from the list.
I have two season tickets in my sons names and attend matches with one or the other using Ticket Share, but have also had a membership in my own name since 2020. I was 73K on the list in 2021, 64K in 2022 and am 54K now and was offerred a season ticket in 2021 and 2022 and would be surprised not be offered one this season too.
Realistically you only have those who got their memberships in the last 12 months ahead of you, plus maybe a few whose circumstances have changed for the better.
I have not had a season ticket in over 8 years now when we had the old stadium but would love to get a season ticket. These tickets are like gold dust and should be treasured. Anyone not wanting to renew must have lost their mind. The stadium itself is worth it just for whole great it is and being able to show off with pictures to friends of rival clubs. I know if I apply now I will be far down the waiting list for a new ticket. Anyone on here that had a season ticket and is thinking whether to renew or not should be blessed to be in the position to be awarded one.
I have been however able a few times to get one off game tickets online from people that cannot make the game. They overcharge though. Last season I paid 250 pounds for spurs vs everton back in October so be careful when buying online.

I knew the waiting lust was high but wow. We should think about increasing capacity over the next few years which will bring in more revenue. I would live us to get to 70,000 plus capacity. I am sure this is achievable.

I did not realise that. Last few years I really have not had the motivation to try to go to games and get a season ticket at all so I am behind with all this. My friend use to do all this for me and I would give him the details. I know I got ripped off. My son really wanted to go as well. Will not pay that prices again. I so want a season ticket though now. I enjoyed watching the match on TV or my mobile through a stream but I love the atmosphere. I am retired now so I have lots of free time on my hands.
