I love a redemption arc. It's why, despite knowing deep down it will never happen, I keep rooting for Timo when he's on.

Hes not the best player in the world, but hes a damn sight better than alot of our back up options in other positions. When Udogie went down I honestly wondered who the fuck would be coming on. I totally forgot he existed until he was stood on the sidelines stripped and ready.
No malice against the lad, hope he tries to take his chance to show what he can do.
Swap him for a new football pump
the club could at least do a little more to make it look like our outcasts have potentially something to offer to a professional footballing club.
It's interesting game theory to consider that the club have far more leverage to buy a new LB right now while they have Reggie on the books than if they didn't and we were "forced" to spend. A smart manager would anticipate these needs in advance, be ahead of the market in terms of preparedness and seize this moment to drive a good deal. I unfortunately don't get the sense that we have really been caught up enough on our business lately to really do much of that, at least when it comes to filling out the final pieces of a complete roster.
If it really is just a matter of moving dead wages out, the club could at least do a little more to make it look like our outcasts have potentially something to offer to a professional footballing club. In the sense of trying to "sell our book" I'd give Spurs about a 2/10 lately- we're doing almost nothing to try and make our outcasts salable, almost all of it seemingly by chance.
Some times a team needs a pace setter in terms of commitment. All I’ll say for him today is he cares.
He tried to get the crowd up today, he played with heart and he gave it his all. I know, I know, overall he’s likely not good enough for where we want to be, but we have players who start most weeks who look like they don’t care what the result is, so to be loaned out, then come back and warm the bench with no hope of getting on until we have a mass of injuries, and then play with a bit of heart, some guts and show you care about the result - fair play to him.
