Player Sergio Reguilón

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

i feel like he fits united better than he does spurs. hes not a bad player, hes actually quite decent when it fits and it probably does fit him much better at united. good luck to him! hopefully we get our money back

Discussion about him on one of Man U's forums:

i thought they was raving about that malacia like a year ago. now reggie has apparently finished his united career.

they are in big trouble, midfield is far too weak. rashford offers fuck all, the new striker looks ok but even with him there was a few worrying signs when it came to quality on the ball outside the box. its great to see, hopefully this is their reality now.

I think that's a fair assessment... some players fit certain systems/managers better than others.

PEH clearly fit an uber defensive/Conte style than anything more free flowing or attacking.... same as Kulu did not...

Both have technical elements of their game which when used properly, make them look decent players (because they are) but when used badly, shows up their limitations or flaws...

Midfield is so slow. Thank goodness we didn't re-sign Eriksen.

oh hes absolutely finished. looking like a weak old man out there. how they didnt go in for the likes of bissouma etc. casimero can probably still look ok if hes in there with two physical beasts that can do the serious leg work for him, but hes hung out to dry with eriksen and bruno.

bruno can prob also look good with 2 specific partners, eriksen is just gone now tho. i always thought he should of repaid the faith brentford put into him, bit of karma at play.

Reguillon wasn't liked by Conte IMO because he wasn't disciplined enough to get back, and when he actually did, was 50/50 to win the ball.
I'd actually say he reminds me of a left sided Porro until (very) recently. 80% forward 20% defender, causes a bit of havock but not great at the back.

With Perisic moving forward (and now probably finished) and Sess being pointless, I'm still surprised we loaned Reguilon out.

Useless defensively and an awful fit for inverted full back basically.

For all of Davies' faults, he's a much better defender than Reguilon and probably actually better fitted to play central.

Davies is adequate as a LCB in a 3. He's never been a good LB. Mourinho kept playing him there and he was always getting absolutely battered down that side.
