I'm not going to try and analyze the game, think that's been covered.
I know it was a game that we were expected to win, but the curse of the manager and player of the month seemed to be hanging over us and I was fearing the worst once they scored. Unsurprisingly, they played 11 behind the ball and they took time wasting to a whole new stratosphere.
I've seen some diabolical refs, but this one took the biscuit. The only thing he got right was the time added on.
I love this team, won't have a bad word said against any of them, the support of each other is wonderful to witness, especially when things don't go well.
As for Ange, I've run out of words to describe how good he is, he just seems to be the perfect fit (trying not to get carried away, but so hard to keep it in check).
I think you had to be in the stadium to appreciate how loud we were when the 2nd goal went in - the whole place just exploded. It was a moment that will live in the memory for a long time.

I was just going to moan about the same thing. Looked at it now on other game vids and definate pen
The biggest thing about that game for me was the way that Richy after his goal didn’t run all over the place, take his shirt off and get a yellow but instead almost didn’t celebrate but urged his teammates to get back into the game right away because there was a win to be had. That was professional class and bodes well for the future.

He is right the refereeing was shocking - we should have had a pen and the long throw for their goal was a foul throw ( throwers foot clearly over the line)

As much as I hate that other Glasgow mob no rangers supporter had a bad word to say about him. He’s a class act and I’ve turned in to watching every spurs game knowing he’d do well. The great thing about that win is the belief it instils in the players that they’re never out of it to the last second. That gives us a greater edge, and especially pertinent the week before the NLD.

I find it strange that more isn’t made about what a powerful tool being able to bring on 5 fresh sets of legs at any stage to influence a game
It’s not too far off considering it to be a first 16 done properly
If you have a well functioning disciplined system and a group of players where the drop of in quality is negligible, to me the advantage of utilising this option is considerable
Apart from the obvious…. Save on injuries… fatigue … fresh legs during the game and tactics….It allows a psychological aspect where players are less defined by a first 11
In times where games are won by fine margins it baffled me that conte just flogged 11 players moribund without any thought to what he could achieve with clever use of this option
