Feel sorry for the fans that went. All that way for a night game mid-week and the players cannot be arsed to put any effort in whatsoever. We pick a second XI and are surprised when we concede a shit goal. Son needs to be a sub every game for quite a while, and only come on if we're winning and countering. Perisic is a liability at LWB defensively. Sanchez is just a clumsy clown. Dier should not get a new contract.

I said it over a month ago, you just cant trust this team.
This kind of performance is always within us, doesnt matter if you get cup ties angainst lesser competition, it keeps on happening.

The one consistent thing is we are massively inconsistent.

I'm all for blaming the ownership.

But the problem tonight was strictly the mentality of the players. Do you not see a complete difference between the performance against Chelsea at the weekend in front of our home fans? and the one tonight against a Championship side?

The same players that let us down against Middlesbrough. Same players that let us down against Norwich. So on and so fourth.
