Players lazy and low football IQ! Doesn’t look for more than ability in players! What I don’t get is he has picked players like Werner and Johnson who no way fit the mould of the type of players he talks about. They are lazy and weak both mentally and physically. Ange wanted certain types of players but I can’t see how that would be the aforementioned .Yes, I get that and I'm the first one up for benching Romero or even leaving him at home for a few games. Also wouldn't be sad to see him sold...always thought he was massively overhyped, never fell madly for him. But cause our squad building has been shocking for so long, we can't even bring in a decent option. I don't trust Archie as a PL CB and Dragusin hasn't really shone whenever he's had a chance.
Read between the lines, pal. Obviously tactics are important, but you can have the very best system in the world, heck you can have master tacticians like Pep or Klopp or Carlo in your dugout...if the lads on the pitch are lazy and their footy iq is just about level, you ain't gonna win many games. We have Ange as our HC to begin with...very much a B-lister and that's me being nice. His famed Angeball system hasn't really worked wonders eh? Full of holes is what it is. And as for our squad, it's way below par, nowhere near challenging let alone winning a proper trophy. But, if our boys worked harder than the opponent week in week out, I bet you our results would be better...at least we wouldn't see performances like today. Look at Palace today, how much they fought for the badge. That's what made Stoke City under Pulis a top 10-12 PL side for years back in the day. Style without substance is nothing.
And fuck them high pressing, high turnover stats bs. We've seen on many occasions this season & last how much our players truly value hard graft...
He got a draw away at goons, beat ac away. The man has done fuck all so far....... Inherited a good and settled team. Yet he is rapidly becoming treated as a byword for EPL elite manager.
He's had little other than the same hot start that Ange did last year..... Has already lost at home to Forrest and is on course to lose his first big game today.
Everything else is TBC.
Fuck Peter Sallis.I don't really blame them. I did think the title was asking for what transpired though.
My and advice is "Tottenham Hotspur verses the notoriously difficult to breakdown and stoically resilient one time winners of the Ueffa cup and a growing force Wolverhampton wanders". That kind of thing just to be sure, preferably read in the voice of Peter Salisis.
Being a Spurs fan just isn’t that great is the reality , but none of us would change it for all the tea in China . I am resigned to more of the same for the foreseeable future and at peace with it , sad yes , realistic yes
I mean getting the ball in the middle of the park and looking up to make a pass. He’s good when he plays it first time but he never goes looking for space or make an angle to receive the ball. Compare him with palmer for example chalk and cheese.Maddison was more constructively involved today, but that's bollocks.
Ffs even Ange said they battled better which he noticed whilst ‘watching’ the game. Unfortunately he never did anything about it.Today had nothing to do with the lads showing no heart or guts?
Wow.

To be fair I'm not sure we have anyone that can shoot ( except Son and he seems to have lost that a bit too) especially under pressure. We want too much time , too many touches to get set and end up passing the ball on.if he keeps up - he'll be gone b4 christmas
hv you noticed - nobody in the team wants to shoot from the edge of the box.
they just love passing. Ange has trained them this way - the angeball towards the byline & cut in a low cross

Could never call it a day , that’s why baldy has me trappedLet’s just hope the pay off is worth it in the end because it feels like a long time coming.
Had we won that champions league final against Liverpool I could have almost called it a day and ended the trauma at the top but instead the defeat ruined the sport for me. It hasn’t been the same for a lot of fans I know including myself and I think it’s safe to say the club haven’t really recovered from that night either.
I see what Angelos means now. I watched a replay of the goal several times today what a bleeding comedy of errors World Cup winner across goal to Bambi but my point is (ithink it is Udogie) runs towards the Palace player but pulls up just before he crosses. Why???
Now I hate Enic with a vengeance (sorry TFC) and i think the current caretaker manager is a clown but all 3 of those players are decent but they made schoolboy errors there.wtf is going on with our team?

By the way the palace pitch is the same width as our ground at 68mtrs. The length is 2 metres per half smaller. I was wondering whether they had a small pitch which allows them to press our play out from the back style more readily. But I really think that's red herring. I don't know what was up with us that made us get caught SO often.you're right --LAZY
if you look at the first goal highlights - Cuti very lazily lofted a suicidal ball to VDV instead of Clearing upfield. why?
And after VDV was upended trying to dribble ...you can see Udogie lazily waltzed towards the byline - he is not going after the palace player with the ball ready to cross to Matete.
In the last 10 min -all the spursies seem lazily passing backwards and around with zero urgency as though we are leading 4-0.
FFS we can blame the Palace ground for being small, too-sunny-with-shadows - but hv a look at our own lazy players.
Look at that…It happens under every manager when they start to lose faith or confidence. Happened under Poch, Mourinho and Conte. Suddenly one player starts to make mistakes out of character and then it spreads and spreads.
Once we start to hear stories of players not liking training we will know things are about to turn. That’s how it always starts. I think it’s an intentional leak from the club and not actually the players. It is far too regular an occurrence

What will the Postecoglou article read? The players are baffled/bewildered by what they are being asked to do and want a manager who is pragmatic mid-game, with one player reportedly saying, “he hasn’t got a clue”.
Yeah, I get you. It's not the players though leaking that. It is the board. It is just a precursor to them sacking him. They use the excuse of the players being fed up when they arent at all, it is Levy et al.
The stories are always the same and it help Levy force the fans to take it out on the players rather than him. It is pure deflection.
Surely you'd hear something from ex-players if that was the case? If the players are genuinely happy with a manager then why would they accept the blame? It's not the players though leaking that.
