Contract is done in 2027, rumours are that Madrid are looking at him and Saliba right now, they'll probably go for Romero as he's currently the cheapest - not sure Levy will see it that way though.

I can’t see Romero staying and while he is brilliant he is always fucking injured. Fine if you play for Real and there is someone great covering you but not so much when you are desperately needed. The club need to accept in Romero and VDV we have two players made out of glass and buy accordingly. Romero will be gone but VDV we need a LCB in this month.

Romero and VDV are another issue as well. Romero has always been injury prone even before Ange and VDV had a big hamstring injury before he joined us. Made of glass players.

Romero is probably off in the summer with Vuskovic taking over, then we still need a LCB this window. A lot to do which should have been done in the summer.
Yes this squad is just not good enough whether it be a skill level or fitness level issue it’s fair to middling at best , with good luck & ignorance we might get a cup run but a league consistency run no chance

IMO it is becoming clearer week after week Ange is not who we thought he was after the first 10 games. He has been figured out and refuses to adapt to deal with same. He makes daft decisions picking teams, generally his substitutions are poor and looks lost at sea in the premier League.
Yes he has been handed a poor hand by Levy , like many of his predecessors, but he should be getting more out of this team/squad.

It has to be someone who has experience in the top leagues and dealing with playing matches in the CL and EL. No more fucking about giving managers chances. As I’ve said before it shouldn’t be hard to find a manager of that calibre who won’t bore us to death and doesn’t play kamikaze football like Ange. That man is out there.

You’d be thinking there has to be some sort of succession planning in place all the time at any club as you just never know when you could lose a manager or have to change. Managerial appointments mid-season are not easy, but clearly Mourinho and Conte were both waiting in the wings when they were appointed.

The summer of Nuno and again a selection process that threw up Ange from the Scottish League doesn’t exactly inspire confidence as to the calibre of replacement we will attract to replace an out of his depth Ange.

Who knows but if we get someone new we still have the below issues that is going to make life hard for any new manager.

1 our front line is total wank. Son is done, Johnson if he doesn’t score doesn’t do anything, Werner is shit, Richy is always injured and Odoburt/Moore/Min-Heoyk/Lankshear are kids, our only top draw attacker is now Solanke. We need minimum one new top draw winger this window and another striker to replace Richy.

2 left side of our defence has less depth than a paddling pool. Need a new left back and new LCB. At least one this window

3 The whole Bentancur/Bissouma 6 situation will need to be resolved in the summer. Both players are way to inconsistent at present.

532 or 352 however you look at it solves the first issue, Son isn't and never has been a wide touchline winger, get him into central positions with another player close and he'll score, same with Johnson

Xavi might be worth a go.

Would play academy players if they are good enough and we know he wanted Bergvall at Barca.

Obviously I’m still Ange in but that’s a direction I could get behind for next season if he went at the end of the year

Why are there only 5 managers on the list?

Have we really become so toxic / unattractive that we're limited to such a tiny choice. :roflmao:

Now I don't follow football outside the prem these days, but surely to fuck there has to be options from one of the Big 4 leagues in Europe who'd jump at the chance of working in the most prestigious league in the world, in London, for one of the wealthiest clubs on the planet?

Your arguments don't make any sense.

Sounds like an improvement from the 90s #LevyIN

I'm sorry but I like to disagree with your thougts.

I wouldn't looking for a manager from the top leagues in europe, it is important to look for a manager who will absolutely knows what Tottenham Hotspur is.
A sleeping giant.

Only a good manager from the four top leagues would dosn't enough.
There must be a owner who loves football, who loves the club (and unfortenatly he buyed a football club like he would by groceries).
You need the wright players, a mix from experienced and young devoling ones.

The name and the stand of a manager who works with them must not mandatory have a big name, he must know how to works with experienced and devoling players.
He must have a plan to make - step by step - a good team of it, they do know the automatism and go with the will to win (better, to fight from the first to the last minute) for their club and for the great fans.

Thats my two cents.
