I want the club to invest in a cloning facility.

That way, we can have Levy as head coach, set piece coach, defensive coach, attacking coach and club bus coach.

In all seriousness, no good manager will want to touch this club anymore. It honestly won’t surprise me if Mason is next.

Does anyone really think there's any manager out there, employed or otherwise, that would succeed working for Levy?

I mean, let's be honest with ourselves, yeah?
We had a perfectly good manager in 2019 who actually said in february before burnley away we needed a painful rebuild. By some miracle we got to 4th and CL final. Then levy sacked him. My only reservation that poch was hung out to dry was that ferguson meeting in london. Imo poch should have stayed and its been a steady decline since. Hope ange turns it round but of he dont tuchel for me.

Mark Van Bommel, ca fighter, a hugely respected football legend and if he wasn't great as manager, he'd be by far our best midfielder

I loved Poch, but he didn’t help himself with flirting with United, his weird comments before the CL Final and the stupor post final.

A new manager will get us playing a certain way. However, with the level of players we have, and what we can ever afford, nothing changes in terms of us challenging regularly. We had a chance to upscale around the time of the CL final. We didn’t. We’ve since had all manner of top level coaches/managers without any real change. We were so far ahead of our neighbours after the 2-0 win a few years back but look who are the challengers for titles and trophies.

I’ve kind of been a ‘is the grass really greener on the other side’ supporter but it’s so obvious now that the problem is with our setup as a club. No idea how it can change unless they want to sell up, and given the money involved, why on earth would they now? I’m disappointed in myself for now coming to terms with this and accepting the status quo as it is, given (as said above) we had the change to move on. We didn’t. And we won’t in the short or medium term.

Hmmmm up until recently maybe, but we’ve certainly spent plenty in the last few windows and I can’t help feeling that someone like Emery would get more out of this squad.

Spent lots on players but not on wages to get the best. We don’t want to spend the money to get the players.

The problem is, we’ve had manager after manager and nothing changes. At some point you have to look beyond the guy in the dugout.
