I think that Pioli could do good work here.

An adaptable, calm coach that's used to working within a budget (Which even if we spend, we are) and to adapting his football based on the players on hand rather than putting square pegs in round holes.

Not to mention that he is a good player developer. Theo Hernandez and Rafa Leao grew into their potential under him.
No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

Probably the best shout.

Young. Done wonders for a lower club in La Liga. Doing wonders at a lower club in the Premier League and will end up being rewarded with a bigger move. Great at coaching a press and has shown to improve the players he has at his disposal and getting the best out of them.
Agreed. He does tick a Lot of boxes, the most notable one him having experience in this league.Whoever the new manager is will definitely have had to work in the premiership before.

McKenna.

The job he's doing at Ipswich is really impressive and they play football the right way.

Other choices just seem like Foreign Flavour of the Month types.

Ange can still turn things around though, starting with Coventry this Weds.

Of which there are also Brit Flavour Of The Month types too.......... Carrick was hot news not so long ago... Not heard a peep about him here (in any context) for a while now.

Based on the transfer window we are a youth project looking to bear fruit and peak in 2-3 seasons.

We need somebody to come in, bed in the youth and manage expectations.

I'd go for Gary O'Neill, he was the first to come up with the blueprint of beating so called Ange ball on Monday night football.

I like him and he's suitably low key for where we are, isn't going to come out and say crazy things in pressers about winning leagues and shit.

There were one or two mentioning Carrick but that was it, certainly not myself as the man couldn't wait to get out of our club as a player so why hire him as a manager?

McKenna would be a much better option than some foreign mercenary, imo anyway.

As I said, here's hoping Ange can start picking up some wins and we can write this off as a slow start.

Why would a foreign manager automatically be assumed to be a mercenary?

Is Ange a merc?

Is McKenna a Spurs fan?

..................What are the 'lines' here?
