Ok great, Ange has proven that he could do that last year.

We are meant to be targeting the next step and consistently winning things.
Here we go again!

‘But what has he won?!’

Well we had ‘winners’ in Conte and Jose and that worked out didn’t it?!

I’m not getting drawn into the same rabbit hole you seem to want to go down with every manager name that’s mentioned!

What evidence is there to suggest Iraola can take us to the level of serious contenders?
This is why I prefer Marco Silva.

Iraola has done well this season, in the Premier League, over 25 games. His Bournemouth win percentage is 42.25 % in 71 games.

Silva has a win percentage of between 40% - 50% in approaching 300 Premier League games. His win percentage at Fulham is 44.64% in 168 games.

At Sporting Silva's win percentage was 58.49%.

What about those stats suggest Silva can take us to the level of regular Trophy winners?

Call me a cynic but you could get Pep in, and when he told Levy the players he wanted to take it to the next level, Levy would give him Nelson and Saha.
We have Harrods ambition but Levy shops in Poundland.

I believe that there’s a theory about insanity.

Yeah I agree there’s no guarantee with any coach but surely you want to find one that has at least some track record for showing they can win?
What like Anchelotti at Everton, Jose and Conte with us?!

Poch got us closest post-Burkinshaw and didn’t have a track record of winning anything.

There’s been a handful of managers winning the Prem since its inception. It’s far from easy, especially with us!

I think Harry could have got us to the point Poch did if he had been backed in 2012 January window.

I always remember late on at Man City away when a ball was played across the 6 yard box from the left and
Defoe couldn't quite reach it for a tap in.

I think City scored minutes later and our title challenge was gone.

Fine margins.
