I’m not saying we should go anywhere near him but come on how do you expect a high win rate given he managed Burnley and Everton both of which had fuck all money?

On that basis. How do you expect a high win rate when the coach has to play an 18 year old who has never played CB before, an 18 year old playing arguably the most important position on the pitch in central midfield and has a different starting 11 every week due to injuries?

Why those three? It’s got Nuno written all over it for me. Managing Tottenham is completely different to managing Bournemouth,Brentford,Fulham and Forest. The expectation is on another level.
I like all three of them but I’m not excited or confident they can turn is into what we should be.
There is no one else better available. Managers like klopp or alonso are not coming here.

Definitely warming to the idea of trying to get Glasner out of Palace

Really wasn’t that keen but they play great football and he’s won the Europa League at Frankfurt. Successful in every other club he’s been at. Tactically flexible as well.

Tough start this season and turned it around.

I agree with you that Glasner is a very good manager but I would think Palace would fight tooth & nail to keep him. I guess it would depend on Glasner thinking Spurs would be a good move for him. I expect him to stay at Palace for another season.

He’d definitely see it as a step up in possibilities.

Palace having an incredible season is 8th. Spurs usually see 8th as the low end of an average season.

He’d double his wages at least as well.

As a slight consolation and a tiny glimmer of hope for next season: Last season Not. Forest ended up 17th on 32 points, 6 points above relegation...and look where they are now
Spurs already have 34 points with 7 games left to play

I'd liek Harry Redknapp until the end of the season.
Louise Redknapp couldn’t do any worse ……

Fabrizio Romano shares update on Tottenham managerial situation and Simone Inzaghi links

But, the journalist has played down rumours that have claimed that Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi could be heading to Spurs.

He said in a video on his YouTube channel: “It’s not over yet, but it’s a dangerous situation with Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham.

Spurs fans are not happy with the current situation. It’s really poor, 34 points in 30 games in the Premier League. In the Europa League, it’s a different story. They have an important clash against Eintracht Frankfurt. So, Europa League is saving the season for Tottenham and Ange Posteocoglou.

“The Europa League will be really important because if Tottenham win it, it could change the whole sense of the project – next season would be Champions League and a trophy finally for Spurs.

“Otherwise, the expectation is for a very concrete and strong chance for Tottenham to replace Ange Postecoglou.”

Speaking about Inzaghi, Romano said: “There are links with Simone Inzaghi, but I can guarantee that Inzaghi is completely focused on Inter and is not having any concrete conversations with Tottenham at this point.”

Not over yet. Fcuk off.

Football insider have an article blaming son for postanoclue getting the sack.
They can fuck right off, poch, Jose, Nuno and conte all got a tune out of Sonny.
Alf steward is out of his depth and has made several players worse.

Because I’d like to hope we’ve got better players than Burnley and enough to finish higher than 16th.

Didnt Ange have a 73% win rate at Celtic? Yet he’s been awful at Spurs completely dispelling the notion that win rate in itself means anything significant based purely on the number. Almost all Celtic managers since 2000 have had a high win rate. Neil Lennon had a 70% win rate. Brendan Rodgers 70%. Ronny Deila 69%. Strachan 67%. Oneill 75%. Its’s all context.

kompany had a 42% win rate at Burnley but thats only because he only spent 2 seasons at the club and relegated them. Eddie howe 39% but only managed them for a season and it was in the Championship. Dyche spent the majority of his time at Burnley keeping them in the PL 7 out of the 9 seasons he spent there, all on no budget. He built them into a regular PL team.

Now we are adding Glasner to the list!!! Win a few games and he is a candidate now. Nobody mentioned him when they were a shit show earlier in the season because shiny new object Iraola was doing well. Now it’s flipped. You’d think there’s only one league in the world that we can chose from. I don’t get why any would want Silva,Frank or Iraola to be honest. Last season people were turning up their noses at Enrique🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

In fairness it’s not a few. They are on a great run

I’d still go Xavi, Terzic, Hoeness, Italiano, Farioli over Glasner but he has won the Europa League and his record at every club is outstanding. I respect his journey too, he climbed from the bottom instead of just starting in a major league.
