He was in the ME to start with.

How do you get experience unless you get a chance?

If we wait until he gets experience somewhere else and it works out then he’s gone to a tier we can’t reach like Xavi Alonso
I hear you BUT if he fails, we've ruined another legend etc..

Maybe a safe pair of hands ala Frank or Glasner is better suited to us if much less inspiring or exciting.

Yeah but I’d hope we wouldn’t be repeating this season with a new incumbent.
Mate;

This team will start next season in the conversation for relegation if something significant doesn't take place between now and then.

The miser we have as chairman has practically explained to everyone that next season will be more of the same.

The coach we have is part of the problem but who employed him?

The same guy who will be employing the next guy.

It's a shit show and some of the players in this squad, who are regarded as Spurs better players, are anything but.

Spurs deserve to be where we are.

This isn't a blip.

Conte and Kane delayed this.

This squad is nowhere near 15th in the league level.

It’s the moron in the dug out and his ridiculous tactics that are responsible for where we are.

Yeah we could invest more and pay higher wages for sure, but even without reinforcements this team should be competing for top six as it currently stands with a decent manager who knows what he’s doing.

To believe we’ll be a nailed on relegation candidate next season is just being a hysterical drama Queen!

We don't have dugouts..we have benches...dugouts are for baseball...

Yeah we do now, but I’m an old git when they were termed dug outs and were usually built of breeze blocks!

From wiki:

‘The first football stadium to feature a dugout was Pittodrie Stadium, home of Aberdeen, where dugouts were introduced by trainer Donald Colman in the 1920s. He wanted a place to take notes and observe his players (especially their feet, hence the reason for being set partially below pitch level) without sacrificing the shelter provided by a grandstand

Xavi Alonso would be the absolute dream. Leverkusen are the Tottenham of Germany, a manager who can build great football, improve players and get results. He is sadly Madrid bound but a good example of an elite manager that isn’t a win it now manager or perhaps more accurately cheque book manager. Can’t think of anyone who would on paper be better suited to our situation and I include Pep and Klopp in that.

so starting to come around the idea of Xavi (Barca one) as manager. Someone who will play a good style and hopefully improve the rough diamonds of a squad.

I think a low block manager like Glasner might get good initial results but I don’t see that working long term. We need someone who can utilise the high energy of youth and also play in a style that befits the club.

'Great project' he said. It will be a fun 6 games to the end of the season 🤣
He was and is made for Bolton...and that is where he should return

Smashed

Yep.

My dream choice forever remains nagelsmann but Richard Arlison Richard Arlison convinced me over xavi . Having looked into him myself I think he'd be a good choice for us to work with the raw young talent we have .
It would be up and down stuff but ultimately I think we would be very competitive if we stuck with him

I've been thinking about this since that shit show finished today.

The candidates put forward as an interim are usually Harry Redknapp or Hoddle.

The reason being is that an interim would need to be available and out of work.

There is one guy who I feel sure ticks all the boxes Redknapp and Hoddle do.

Martin O'Neil.

O'Neill is the man Spurs need for this Europa League quarter final and the remaining league games.

He's a positive guy with loads of experience.

For fucks sake Levy go and get him until the end of the season.

Stop embarrassing us and do your fucking job.

Xabi Alonso and Nagelsmann are coaches we can’t get anymore.

Poch is never giving up the USAMNT before they host the fucking World Cup

After that you really need to get creative. Xavi, Hoeness, Italiano, Farioli, those are the names that all carry a similar amount of risk/reward IMO. Unless you want you say Cesc Fabregas but he’s Steele a massive no in terms of the fanbase.
