i've never seen it not be a somewhat pragmatic approach most of the time, but as you say levkusen use it and have made it work in an attacking sense.
just the last thing we need is not only losing games against our rivals next season, but negative football too. just be a recipe for more toxicity and around we go again.
And yeah before people say anything, yes it would be better than whats happening currently, thats not hard, but once the appeal of a more structured defence wears off eyes and minds will start to crave a team that to takes the fight to teams especially at home

100%

Whoever comes in has to be an attacking, game dominating mentality

Think they are all making it up as they go along at this stage.

We will have been linked to and turned down by at least 3 coaches by the time it actually get serious with any coach and most of it will have been utter bullshit.

If I was guessing right now I could see them going for Glasner because they tried to get him before. If they were ever interested in Silva or Frank they had plenty of chances in the past.

Never felt so uninspired by the thought of who the next manager might be, whoever it is won’t be here for a third season, meh supporting Spurs through the 90s and early 2000s was more fun than this, the hope really does kill you.

My thinking is we will hire someone probably underwhelming who's hung out to dry for a season then poch back in 2026. Iraola will only stay at Bournemouth imo if they are in europe. If not he may join us. If hes not sure bollox to him we move on.
