We'd be a long way down the queue for them players to join us. Wharton will have City/Liverpool/Woolwich looking for him. City have always admired Eze too. Imagine Chelsea will join the party late too as they usually just throw shit at the wall until something sticks.

Newcastle and Villa probably have more pull than us atm too so we'd need them to step away too.

If all that happens and they've nowhere else to go then maybe we'd be in with a chance. The one benefit to getting Glasner is he'd be able to convince them to join us. Doubt he'd have the pull to convince them to join us over any of the other 6 clubs I named above though!
 
Glasner never rotates so will be interesting to see how he keeps our squad injury free next year, Maybe we just need to buy more durable players! Imagine we'll end up with a similar injury crisis next year regardless of manager but at least his style might be more sustainable than Ange or someone like Iraola.

Actually disagree with this we have far too many wide players/ 10s who would be competing for just 2 spots in the team if we were to play a back 3.

That’s 7 already before we even sign anyone else this summer. Think our current squad is actually far more suited to playing a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1 just obviously with a competent manager instead of ange.

Tbh I don’t really see the squad fit with Glasner either.

Not against him because he seems a shrewd coach but he would need the squad build to change direction and he wouldn’t rotate, so the young players we’ve invested in probably get shunted to the side.
