Match Southampton v Tottenham Hotspur | Saturday 18th March | KO: 3pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Didnt bother today. Half followed it on here, just cant be arsed. One of the worst seasons i can remember despite the league position, no real highlights stodgy going forward, hapless at the back and just do bloody dull. Nothing to like about the club at the moment.
40 goals conceded by the team run by the tactical master which is the worst in the top 12. Even Everton have let in fewer. When your back line is poor you surely try to keep the ball away from them so don’t get outnumbered in the midfield placing more pressure on the suspect defence. Elite manager my arse.

You can point the finger at the ref but a spurs side should be smashing that Southampton to pieces

Any other ‘top 6’ team would have been 3 or 4 up and a late penalty wouldn’t have even mattered
What like United did the other day?

Yeah we're shit, everyone and their dog knows it, doesn't mean we're not consistently getting robbed of whatever little could achieve.

On the penalty I think Sarr might just have scraped the guys calf, it was harsh but naive play from Sarr. If you are going to take a high swing like that you’d better be sure there is nobody near you and he wasn’t.

People will rightfully say we need to play better and that we defended poorly on two of their goals, that's true.

But the focus really needs to be on the referees here. Penalty decisions are MAJOR decisions in a sport where so few goals happen. They are sway the outcomes of matches in a dramatic way, and that was frankly a scandalous decision.

I honestly don't really blame the ref himself too much, he was right there and from his angle, you can't really tell if there's contact and the Soton player sold the dive. Fine. But VAR needs to intervene there and say there's no contact, they just have to. At the very least they need to tell the ref to look at it on the monitor. To allow decisions like that to stand, it's a disgrace.

I get tired of saying it over and over again but decisions like this are never given against certain clubs or for certain clubs. Let's not forget that the handball penalty was NOT given for us. Do you think that pen would be given if we were Liverpool, or Man United? Absolutely.

There are two standards of officiating in the Premier League, and I'm tired of pretending like it's not a massive issue, and that we need to focus on our own play and control what we can control. Yes, we need to play better, but penalty decisions are massive, and it's ridiculous to believe this league is fair right now, because it's not.

What, we didn't beat the worst team in the league from 3-1 up?........

Why bother to turn up to a game at all if the ref is just gonna give the opposition a free equalizing goal 2 minutes from the end?

Why bother training, picking a squad, run around risk injury? Just tell us ahead of time so we can save our energy.
It's exactly this.

Any of the other darlings of the premier league gets that decison given against them, then VAR overrules it in seconds.

It's just fucking match fixing.
